I can say they are a part of Gensokyo's nature, which is highly different from our own flawed and damaged one. There is nothing to suggest they lose their memories but as their life differs from ours the you can say they forget things as time goes by. But then there is these excerpts "Therefore they take reckless action, without fearing death. Since their concept of death differs from that of humans it may look so, it is also said that they simply are stupid." However they are like all people and friends help friends no matter what.
I was planning to put a demographic/terminology of Gensokyo's residences post on the first page explaining this stuff when I was redoing this along with a geographic explanation of locations.
Oh their age...you know I'm just going to post the whole Characteristics part of fairies. However I put the mean average to be old at 1000 myself. Fairies:
Spoiler:
The true identity of natural phenomena themselves. Fairies live in such phenomena where it gets cold and hot, rain falls and wind blows, grass grows and flowers bloom. They come in various shapes, but many of them are humanoid with wings like those of the insects called butterflies and dragonflies. Height is uniformly small, from the degree where they can fit in the palm of one's hand, up to the size of a child below ten years of age. There is hardly any fairy outside of this scope. They live wherever there's nature. You can confirm their existence anywhere in Gensokyo. They specifically prefer noisy places, so when humans and youkai gather you can probably spot lots of them. On the other hand, in gloomy places their numbers decrease. They are a kind of youkai you frequently can see even in human villages. Time of activity is diverse, so you can probably encounter them both at daytime and in the night. It seems that there isn't any regularity Still, an individual fairy is short-lived(*1), but they immediately resurrect in the same shape. Even if they suffer large injuries so that their bodies are in pieces, they heal immediately. In a stricter sense fairies can't die. Therefore they take reckless action, without fearing death Since their concept of death differs from that of humans it may look so, it is also said that they simply are stupid. Fairies don't really need to eat, but they see the way humans deliciously eat their meals, and copy them and eat the same things as humans. They eat anything which humans eat. They especially like to secretly steal that which humans are planning to eat.
Anyway... The eyes turning red... Can most beings in Gensōkyō do that, or is just to certain ones? I know Sakuya can do it, and obviously the vampires' eyes are red. I've also seen red Cirno and red Marisa...
As for my knowledge few in Gensokyo can have two different eye colors. Sakuya can, and a low level youkai named Kogasa has a red eye and blue eye. The rest I think are fandom things. I need to put something in Yukari's profile.
GUYS! This is urgent especially if you follow Manpuku Jinja and Memories of Phantasm.
Judging by the amount of movement in the trailer and from what I can make out of from the Japanese text, they're going back to redo EoSD and make a full fledged episode on it. If you recall, Episode 1 was based on PCB.
There's not much material to work on, but whatever it is, it could possibly be Memories of Phantasm Episode 2.
I'm surprised Memories of Phantasm may be doing another episode again. After the first one they went to PV's which are very good. It seems like the thing will be about Reimu and Marisa telling about the scarlet mist incident to the cast this time around.
Nope just sites like konachan, or zerochan will not load here. I think it has to do with the sites themselves than parental controls. Also I like to show people these images and not put a link that can be ignored.
