I had a blast, the action was almost non-stop.

Special shout out to luvs2fight. Who invaded and mailed me to ask if I was from the forum. I said yes and he asked who? Maneater_Mildred I reply. Holy **** he says! Then jumps in the ring to fight with what must have been a sl1 toon. Respect.

From my hosting streak I saw a myriad of good things; clutch parries, multiple NPC builds including Smough, Leeroy, Mildred, and Ciaran. I saw all sorts of play styles, and very much enjoyed watching the matches as they went.

My duelers with the most wins were RedThornS, Uparkaam, and TestSpecimen85.
Dibsville did very well as well, but I seemed to have connection issues with him. Good job gents.

I got smacked around a lot tonight, but for my first major foray into PvP I think I did quite well for myself. Notched wins over a couple of good players, and even managed to beat the Smough cosplayer (I think it was Uparkaam) that became a little infamous during the event.

All in all it was fun, though I think I should try an easier to use weapon next time.

I wasn't trying to be hard on myself, I did get beaten up quite a bit though, ESPECIALLY by test. I was a bit proud of myself for my streak, which I believe was 4.

Edit: I may not use this build again for the next event, but at least it's at the perfect level for invasions in a lot of places. Maybe I could hone my craft a bit doing that.

Thanks for the mention Mil, I was rocking an SL 1 build actually. As one might expect I got very few wins with that toon.

I did also invade as a Darkmoon hoping to crash the event but I ended up invading billy and decided not to *** with the dark lord himself so I chose to enter the ring instead.

Won three fights, one against Dibsville and one against Dubscythe. Both were very good, made me work for my wins. I was the Black Knight/ Tarkus since I only do Cosplay builds, even my sl 1 was a cosplay of Laurentius. Thanks for the great battles you two. Then billy decided he wanted to try me out, He cast PW and DMB and I damn near soiled my armor. I ran like a *****, got lost then had to BC out cuz I couldn't find my way back. (sorry Billy)

Later once the event started winding down I decided to host and met Sneezer and Mofomey. After about 20-30 minutes of hosting I gave in to the bloodlust and decided to jump into the ring with Sneezer. Sneezer was a BOSS, that dude was jukin' and dodgin' like nobody's business. The only way I was able to hit him was by waiting for an opportunity to BS, man that was fun. Thanks Sneezer +1 and +1 to Mil

Had loads of fun, even though I wasn't a host.
Smough and test definitely brought the pressure when it came to the fights.
I noticed a ton of CP'ers, and it took everything in my power now to dress up as someone and CP myself, so I settled with Giantdad for my final few fights. silly

Now that I think about it, I think test was one of the few people who actually beat me more times then I beat them when I brought out my BSS. Smough was the fat roll king of the day. :Beer:

Awesome event! Praise the Mods! Even though I died in like every fight except maybe 2(not counting the invader who BS'd my host) I had a great time. Why did I try and parry Smough?! Because when else do I ever get a chance to give that a shot! SPLAT! I changed costume a lot and did a bunch of dual wielding. I think I ended the night in shadow garb using a skull lantern off hand. Just realized I should get a fog ring for that set up!
One host(sorry I can't remember your name) in dragon form got bored because we couldn't get another summon and chased me around with fire arrows. After that he sicked some dark pursuers on me and I ran them in a circle around him ( Forest skills!) but then killed me off with fire tempest or something.
Main thing I noticed besides what a great community we've got here is that just rubbing elbows with you all has brought a new level of skill to my game. Last night I had a dozen invaders while waiting to be summoned I finished all but a few off quickly. One guy finally killed me because I got sloppy trying to get back to my 10 humanity for my chaos weapons.
Anyway great event and if you see me out there in Lordran while your invading light me up. I promise I will try to make it interesting.

Are you sure that wasn't me, Testspecimen85? I remember fighting you quite a few times in the-Red-Drifter's world and also being summoned to yours at the end of the night. I think everyone thinks I was that Test_Subject guy at the two events I've participated in. I was wearing a gargoyle helm and dealing death with a lightning claymore if that helps.

Great event regardless. I'd like to specifically thank the-Red-Drifter for supplying me with enough humanity to keep my streaks alive. All in all, I went 53-14, with 5 of those losses coming at the hands of ShadowzNinja(?) and his Zwei/Giant's/Father combo--I never even scratched him! Also, to DubScythe: I know you were getting frustrated facing me, but I really enjoyed our (many, many, many) fights.

Thanks to everyone who put this event together. This and the Ceaseless Discharge event are some of the best times I've had gaming, period. Maybe next time I'll make a cosplay build and host.

P.S. Does anyone have any video footage of me? I'd be curious to watch it and learn from my mistakes.

I really enjoyed this event a lot. I already made a post about it in the event thread, but much thanks to all of the hosts and participants. It was my first dark souls event, but I'm sure it won't be my last. I had a lot of great fights and memorable moments, so thanks again to everyone that summoned me, fought me, and gave me humanity when I needed some. This is a cool forum, and a really nice community.
