Also, necro magic....
I also want a gesture for invaders that works like undead rapport so I dont need to attune it....
I want lightning magic as a stand alone....
I like the glyph idea....
I also want a "Incredible Hulk" spell/talent.

Weather magic would be fun. What if you could cast a thunderstorm that would strike several times randomly in an area around you? That's being overly hopeful though.
I'd be happy with some water/ice magic. Hell I agree with the others, let's make pyromancy into an elemental magic class.
I think more combat magic would be fun, like a spell that conjure up a blade that swipes in front of you. This way magic wouldn't be about dodging and trying to OHKO or buff. I want to be able to fight with magic (without having to rely on DB).

^ Dats cool, but I'll prolly never play either. I have a feeling Dark Souls 2 will take me into 2015. Hell KOTOR lasted almost 5 years.

I think ice would be best suited for causing ailments. Like someone said earlier damaging equipment making its durability deplete faster. There could be one that causes more stamina use than normal. You could have a spell that lets you freeze the floor making it slick and harder to walk on. Just some ideas.

Just make magic more usable in pvp. Most of the time my opponents completely dodge magic attack. They should make magic projectile go faster and inflict more damage, also with better tracking.

i never really understood pure ice magic, cold is an absencse of energy, where does all the heat where the spell hits go? does the mage absorb it? do they just toss it into a void? frankly i only find paired heat and cold magic's make any sense, absorb all the heat from the area for an ice attack, then release all the stored heat as a fire blast etc.
in short pair pyromancy with cryomancy, each ice attack used charges a fire attack (from 0 casts to +1 or 2), and the caster has a limited number of ice castings(about the same numbers as current pyromancy),

Magic does enough damage already. Most of the spells people use will one shot you if you get hit by them. If they don't one shot you they'll leave you hurting.

Thats debatable.
On one hand if you just lock and cast chances are you're not going to hit your enemy. But if you plan an ambush your chances are greatly increased. You can even manually aim your spells and anticipate were your opponent will dodge and further increase your chances of hitting them. There are tons of threads and conversation about this in the forum.
I feel like the spells had good speed and tracking already. Enough to let you commit some error but not so much that they did the work for you. Any more and I feel like all a mage would have to do is sit and cast and to me that sounds kind of boring. If there were to be faster spells with better tracking they would have to be far less powerful.

Wow you really can anticipate where your opponent will dodge? But even so, without lock-on, your spell will mostly miss! Just try shooting soul arrow with no lock on, it will head straght to the ground right in front of you.

You have to aim it hahaha. Like I said you can look around the forums there's a lot of discussion about using magic effectively without lock on. A quick youtube search might yield some sort of tutorial. It just takes some practice.
