If it's the Greatsword version, and you have a decent amount of faith then I'd assume it would be.

If you leave the covenant, it's power is only 90%
If you're a level 3, then it's 130%
I'd say it's only good for an ambush or for a group of enemies.

GLGS Dance is very effective for retreating enemies that could be getting back up from a riposte or a backstab.

Gravelord Dance is good because it can be used with 10 Faith, so Thoruland Talisman + Gravelord Greatsword Dance is pretty decent, assuming you're at a low level.

Still trying to finish my faith build. One of it's tricks will be the TWoP/GLGSD combination that Rosie displayed in one of his/her videos. I'll let you know how it works if I ever finish the build.

With Velka's Talisman it becomes useful in an int build since it doesn't have faith requirements.

I have GLGSD on a +3 Gravelord Servant and with Thorolund Talisman it does like 500 damage to hollow warriors on NG.

In pvp , GLGS Dance with velkas and 50 int does about 1.1k dmg for me. Pretty useful

In other words, it crosses gaps/ditches/etc.
Great aoe if you're not into pyro.
Slow as a snail though. Make sure to cast lock-off in pvp.
