by Anchises Sun Apr 28, 2013 12:43 pmI'm thinking about switching out my scimitar for a falchion, or my longsword for a sunlight straight sword, but since at 40/40 the difference in AR is minimal I'm doubting whether it's worth the extra one weight. Do these slightly heavier weapons have better stun? I see the falchion much more often than the scimitar with quality builds and I'm wondering if there's a reason besides the slightly higher damage.

Weapons of the same type of the same poise break, besides the R2s.
Different R2s have different poise breaks, but as those weapons have the same moveset a 40/40 build is better off with the less weighted one.
Although most people prefer the Falchion over the scimitar.

Also,the falchion might seemlike it stuns more because it has better reach.
