So today I....

You know how some of us really enjoy co-op, but sometimes, at some levels, etc, you can't get one?

Today I was invading people (next best thing) and I invaded, as a white summon haha! I even spawned at the red spot but was 100% white and helping, we even beat the boss.

Any other interesting spawn or Dark Souls stuff happened to you recently?

If you play online enough that stuff will happen a lot. I've had the game mix up what kind of phantom I should have been so many times and in every way possible.

Happend to me the other day.
I placed a white summon sign for some jolly cooperation, but I was invited in as a red phantom. I was disappointed :/

Happens to me all the damn time in the forest.

Best 1 I have had so far.... Clicked on a summon sign at the 4 kings fog gate and then I get sent to dark AL as a darkmoon! I was a sunbro at the time. But hey I got an ear out of it.

That one is even nuts for a jaded Dark Souls player like me Mil. Wowzers! :shock:

Lost 30+ humanity on a sl20 doing forest invasions, got called at a really bad time(anor londo archers) and came in as a red, got ganked and ended back at the bonfire and of course i f***ed up on the way back for the bloodstain.

I was Anor Londo as my SL35 INT build, I saw an unusual amount of white signs down for my level, so I summoned one it failed and I thought aww well might aswell do it with Solaire, after running through and unlocking the shortcut when out of nowhere some guy gets summoned into my world and spawns in the invaders spot, I thought nothing of it and summoned Solaire and we killed the boss together..

yesterday same thing in AL
Invaded at the non warpable bonfire, spawned right outside the door, before the balcony (standard invader spawn point) and didn't realized, i spawned as white...
while going to the room, i saw a summoning phantom message (so the host is in 90% of the cases in that room) and at once i changed from "let's have a look if the host wants to fight near solaire, or comes out for his death" to "kill him ASAP, don't care about solaire, his problem, not mine if he tries to gank me"
So i ran in and tried to hit him....host doesn't react and i can't hurt him - "damned f***ing hacker" i thought and the realized, that i don't see my red phantom, instead i see a white that looks like me....and that moves, when i try to move my red

OK lets go kill the boss.....

i was summoned by alvina as a forest hunter but came in as a red phantom instead, got twop ganked by the host, his phantom and a fellow forest hunter, i was dead before i could do anything…lost 3 million souls and 99 humanity because of it.

Once I put on the cat covenant ring but ended up being a white phantom. I helped the host until he and/or I got killed. After respawning at the bonfire I put on the ring again. And I ended up being a white phantom again. With the same host too lol. After that I got regular invasions though.

I kinda wish you could invade as a white. I want to help people. Of course there are people who don't want help. Oh well. Those stories are funny, especially the "put the white sign down and gravelord" comment.

I think the devs did this on purpose...
Or P2P really sucks...
