using Power Within is extremely useful, obviously you have to be more careful. After that dies down, Green blossoms are very useful. His basic slash combos are easy to dodge, and so are his somersaults, just need to nail the timing, be careful of the stab attack he does where he lunges forward, because it hits twice and can drain a lot of stamina if you don't have a high stability shield. Don't stay behind him to much, he will either do a pimp slap, or rarely a slash that sends you flying and is hard to tell when it is coming. DO NOT ALLOW HIM TO CHARGE UP, this will double his damage output and his lunging stab can pierce your shield, he normally rolls twice before charging up, when he does, wail on him until he staggers, then back of. Finally, the best times to attack him are after his massive jump attack or after a successful lunging stab that has been dodged.
