You need to buy a special adapter I think.You can't simply record gameplay unless you are on PC.

I've seen these things programs are online which record whatever is on your screen. PC, laptop or anything. I figured as long as i could get the display onto my Ps3 in theory that would work. Now getting it there and sound is 2 different things. I could do it on my 360 with just a cord.

Well these adapters go into your console but then they split into two cords,one goes in your TV,one into your computer.You can't simply use say a USB cable to do this.Why not just google PS3 capture cards?

It wasn't a USB cable. It was a cable with 2 prongs. And i would have googled ps3 capture card if i had ever heard of one. Hence why i posted this question lol. Thanks.
