). I was about to check for a pulse, Luvz. I checked out that build. You're going to have to tell me how you tweaked it, because wow... dat build... fat roll & dual great axes!
You know I'm always up for Dark AL invasions! IDK 'bout cosplays... you saw my one attempt. I could do Thor and kill the hell outta Seath for people. :razz: Find me a cosplay w/the black iron chest plate and Xanthous waistcloth & I'm there.

I was going to submit my "van Gogh ear of the day", but I've had a few weird ones now so I may have to put it up for vote. :razz:
I took a break then came back & sat down then I decided to get up for something else real quick and I noticed something that required immediate attention. It took me like 3-5 minutes, anyway I turn back to the screen and notice that my character is blue! Oops, I didn't think I'd put the ring back on. I don't have any clue how long I was there, but no damage and nobody in sight. I switched rings and went to pull the level to bring the staircase up and... "Target Destroyed"
I ran right past a dragon on the moving staircase in Dark AL, I got him down to a sliver of HP quickly and of course he runs at this point. Unfortunately for him another blue arrived and cut of his escape he turned away from both of us and instead of circling around he drops. The blue and I both go for plunging attacks, but the fall kills him.
I got a flawless victory against a full havels quester in regular AL. Right after that I glitched into his world as a white and spawned by the giant gate across from the boss fog. I went to check to make sure it was the same guy (I was going to crystal & invade), but the Royal Sentinel started some sh-- so I whacked him and decided to just finish the job. I had to work my way backwards and had to help out the other white (a Leeroy cosplay) who was being chased up the stairs by a silver knight. After we awkwardly make our way through (he didn't pick up the coin after killing only one mimic -- but he knew it was a mimic, so he wasn't a total noob) he decided to pick up the coin after he saw it on the stairs. So he tried to make the jump -- I did it after he missed, went to the silver knight archer across the hall, killed him and walked back in time to see him naked at this point finally make the jump.
The host and I went on to kill O&S because the white, who decided to leave the host and take the shortcut after I finished the silver knight for him, died mysteriously at about the time the host finally jumped the railing. I still don't know how he did that (the white I mean :razz: ). It looked like someone had been in the titanite demon room, but the host didn't go in, I didn't hear him and I'm pretty sure I didn't get any souls for him (ruling out a double-death) so... IDK

RE estus users: I don't make the best use of Lloyd's, in fact for the longest time most of my Lloyd's went to taunting estus users after I killed them. :razz: However, I'm getting better at it. The easiest way to do it is to throw it immediately after a BS. Throw it first, then lock-on. You can't lock-on right away after a BS, so it's quicker to push the use button quicker and then lock-on. You'll have plenty of time to lock-on -- don't worry. I like the lock-on after tactic for a few other things as well in certain situations. You can get casts off quicker that way too.

What i typically do in order to taunt is use the Trident after a kill and then bow because im nice like that.

Actually, lore wise it would fit based on her (Pris) dialogue and Exiled Cove Lore. But more importantly on what little actual in-game lore there is as opposed to the vast amount of speculation.
But, that idea is now "off the burner", so to speak...and I am working on something else a tad bit different.

...maybe... LOL -- not sure what it is. It looks like a few people are trying to steal Luvz's archery idea though. I think the kick-the-can thing on the AL rafters w/bows only would be a solid idea. I don't know... we were working on something like that before we settled on fencing. I'll head over to the thread and express my interest and remind people that fencing is coming up as well!
