Lock please, We were just fighting and I was frustrated. I need to talk to him, not post about it on the forums.

Let him be for a while, watch him fail again and again until he learns to change on his own, and realizes that you were right all along.

You ever heard of Cain and Abel?

Well don't do that. But read him that story in the dark with a flashlight on his face.

Yeah, if he ignores what help you try to give him, just tell him to figure it out himself. He'll either get fed up with the game and quit, or figure it out and be a good player. The point of the game is truly to fail miserably until you figure out each situation/enemy/boss. He shouldn't expect you to get him through that.

First, don't mule him. Tell him: "Prepare to die" and let the prophecy fulfill its self. We all gotta go through that, to get humbled, before we learn and get better.

I caution those words. He might take "prepare to die" as "head into the DLC". Then, he will acquire dark bead (which can outdamage a lot of "mule" items) and think that he was given great advice, but for entirely the wrong reason. He'll smoke the rest of NG in nothing flat, until he gets invaded by a SL 6 abusing him with a rapier on a tour of the world...and after much embarrassment he will flee out of the forest, forever haunting the kiln as a white phantom.

And then you'll have to live with yourself. Don't say you weren't warned.

I have a similar situation with my twin brother, though it isn't as extreme. I suggest you simply leave the room whenever he starts playing, and flat-out refuse to give him any help. If he really wants to play, he'll figure stuff out for himself. If he doesn't, then he'll give up and move on. Either way, you win. If you still want to help him by giving him pointers, only give information when he is calm, and not when he is frustrated because he keeps getting parried by the Balder Knights. Consider only helping when he asks "Do you have any suggestions on how to beat the Capra Demon?", and not when he Screams" THIS IS F*CKING B*LLSH*T, WHY CAN'T I KILL THIS THING, THIS GAME MUST BE BROKEN IT'S TOO HARD!!" Worked pretty well for me, so I hope you can have the same success.
