It would be quite difficult to change the animations based on specific gear, though I admit it would be quite fun seeing some special emotes (or better yet, just fixing some of the major clipping that goes on with the Big Hat :|).

Think Luigi from super smash brothers. Wearing it changes the kick animation to a hat tip and bow, which does slight damage. I would EXCLUSIVELY PvP like this if From was insane enough to do such a thing.
