Pendant Theories

SO does he mean frampt? I don't remember anyone mentioning the pendant in the game?

I don't think anyone does, at least not that's been discovered/documented yet.

You also have to consider the possibility that neither Frampt or Kaathe are telling you the entire truth. The word primordial, while meaning both existing from the beginning, and fundamental. Generally serpents carry the symbolism of the serpent in the Garden of Eden, which represents dishonesty, or twisting things for one's own purposes. DkS's use of the term primordial could mean either here. Both Frampt and Kaathe have their own agendas. Whose to say both aren't ultimately evil? Or at least that both aren't giving you advice that are good for anyone but themselves?

Everyone talks about the pendant but they do it in sign language and/or semaphore. Haven't you seen Domhnall waving flags around in the Depths?

I thought both frampt and kaathe appear at the end of the "dark lord ending" implying that they are working together. The frampt quest seems to be a test within a test.

have anyone try to drop it at the fight against sif or after the fight and have anyone tried drop it at forest covenant leader or darkmoon cov or tried to let those dark stalkers eat the pendant or somthing like that

I can't imagine someone hasn't tried letting Frampt eat it but the other stuff might be worth a shot. I've dropped one near the grave but not during the fight with Sif.

I tried dropping during the fight with sif, right infront of the grave... nothing happened, but maybe I just did something wrong. I dropped more than one, since I had a few from forest hunting and sif wasn't giving me much space to throw them down one at a time.

Maybe if you place it when he is too weak to fight... but I have my doubts.

I think its been tried while the sif is weakened, back when people thought you could spare him.

well one thing i thougt is that when i had the pendant i felt tat something isnt right becuse things thatshould have happen when i playdtrough they whet my warrior didnt happen when i hadthe pendant whet my pyromancer well that my be wellnot lit the fire return to firelink and not lid it then go around and search if something is new well that thats must be me or something

Has anyone tried to drop it in the Lordvessel, before or after putting the souls in it? It could be linked to the pygmy's memories and the lords souls ... But, you know ... Just another theory.

What if....what if there is no in-game use for the pendant. The creator stated he knows what the pendant does, but what if it doesn't do anything? Instead, the Pendant was put in the game to inspire people to discuss it?

The pendant's purpose is to create conversation about the pendant!! Eureka!

I noticed something ... Maybe anyone can answer and it may not have anything to do with the pendant. I killed the Taurus demon as i always do, ran the bridge and went down the ladder, without touching the bonfire. I killed the 2 mobs there and they gave me (example) 615 souls each. No combo, no silver dragon ring. I rested at the bonfire and went back to kill them but they dropper only 600 souls each. Thinking about the pendant and how "it comforts travelers", maybe the longer you stay without touching any bonfire (travelers), the more souls you get from mobs (comforting). It seems to me (i may be wrong) that it started happening only since Rhea died in NG+ and that i got her pendant.
I never noticed anything similar in other games .... without the pendant.

It would also connect with the fact that the developer said to choose the pendant or nothing for the first playtrough gift. If the pendant drops more souls, it makes the game a little easier ...
