Not everyone, but I'd advise heading over there just to see everything and help out the forums.

As far as you know.
Mwahahaha
Confession- I die to the Darkwraith NPCs. Its something like 1 in every 5 runs or so. No poise low health and that stunlock...lol.
Can you parry that 2 handed hit? I have before but only once it seemed, its like the parry window is off slightly.

You can... but that stunlock. If you have low life/low poise it's a death sentence.

Re: Confessions
Alright, it's been a while, so here goes.
This time it's a pretty heavy one.
I don't know how I should put it, because I know it kind of upsets people everywhere I do it. And maybe some people looked at me differently because of it.
I try not to let my morale down or anything, but I do get criticized for it.
Anyways, I put it in a spoiler because it might be too weird or provoking for others.

Re: Confessions
I did something really bad.. and risked hurting some of my closest friends feelings..
I can't post it here, but, I feel really lucky, they aren't volatile about it.
For those involved. Thank you for staying my friends. I really do appreciate you a lot, and I truly apologize for it.

Re: Confessions
I'm horrible with people.
Normal person compliment: That dress looks great on you.
Me compliment: It's cut weird. I'd wear tights.
*facedesk* That went over well. I just ooze charm.
On the plus side, I'm good at getting people to leave me alone. Not usually what I'm going for in giving compliments though.

Re: Confessions
My brother's artistic talents aren't exactly great.
So usually he asked me throughout his schoolyears to draw all his assignments for art classes.
Those classes were obligated and I would feel bad if he would get bad grades because the teacher expect everyone to fart a Mona Lisa every class.
So here's my confession.
I hid a drawing of a 'male reproductive organ' in every drawing I made for him, but in such a way that no one can really notice it.
(EDIT: I think I've made over 60 different drawings in those 8 years for him with that little bonus, just for him.)

Re: Confessions
I have filters though. My first thought was............inappropriate, and that wasn't what I said (thank god.)
What happened was I commented on the things that caught my attention. Lots of leg up the sides (in an odd diamond shape). I'm on the modest side, so my conclusion is that, were I her, I'd wear tights. She got the tail end of each thought as my answer to "how do I look?"
Whenever people seem to expect compliments, or when I try to give them, my mind goes blank, and that is the kind of crap that happens

Re: Confessions
People shouldn't be asking a question with the expectation of a compliment anyway, although they do it of course.
A lot of these social conventions I find really annoying, so whether I adhere to them like a normal person or turn it into some kind of argument/debate/whatever/awkward moment depends on my mood.
In this example, I firmly believe that a question along the lines of how one looks should be asked for the exact logical reason: an assessment of whether the other person finds the outfit favorable or not. When someone gets angry at a reasonable attempt to answer honestly, I get annoyed even if I have nothing to do with the conversation (though more so when I do).
I confess I usually just give a troll answer that's obvious I'm not serious, usually in the opposite direction. If an outfit is covering everything, I'll ask if the person is headed to the nearest adult entertainment site or trying to pick people up on certain kinds of streets. If they're more along the lines of what Forum Pirate described, then I'll ask if they're planning on wearing it to church/going to meet someone's parents/going to an interview. If they give me a strange look, I will go on to explain that said article of clothing is super revealing (when it isn't) or vice versa until they figure out that I'm never going to answer this question properly.
Perhaps most annoying (and amusing at the same time, odd) of all is that such troll answers consistently elicit a more favorable response than a well-thought-out honest one.

Re: Confessions
I agree on the compliment fishing bit. My comments/compliments are usually taken as negative, when I really wasn't being negative. I was applying my preferences to their outfit and telling them what I would find more appealing. (looking back)
I don't debate if they get upset, (with the mantra: you ask, I answer. Don't like it, don't ask) but that doesn't mean I don't wish I could get a good response. All that processing happens subconsciously though, so when asked I just answer with no thought as to how I might phrase it better, nor do I have the time mid-conversation to come up with a better phrasing.

I confess I'm going to use it and youtube anyway. I don't see a way to prevent this kind of thing; it's unfortunately a longstanding common trend and I've not the energy to resist or move my 1200 video channel.

Re: Confessions
^I just saw Strays joke thread where you said the same thing xD
The internet desperately needs a sarcasm font. the joke would have been more tasteful if there was not a huge argument on rep and the forum transfer though, too soon.
I must confess that I am quite manipulative, tactically so. And not "Hey buy me a soda" manipulation but a way to influence a wider viewset.
But I am still a kind person and only use my powers for good so dont worry.

Re: Confessions
We have new font options. We should totally make the rainbow font the sarcasm font.
In fairness though there are some things that sarcasm doesn't allow, some people fail to make the distinction
