Least favorite type of player?

PvE'ers.

Mages, for the most part. It feels to me like relying on lag to kill, which is pretty much the only reason I lose to a caster. It's not necessarily their fault, but sometimes no matter what timing you use to dodge, a laggy soul spear will still land.

Japan isn't the only country in Asia you know. By Asians I meant generally guys from that area. 
The reason I mentioned them isn't their playstyle, but the connection. Somebody in here explained to me that it itsn't lag, but high ping that makes the trouble when playing with these guys. Since there's high ping it's hard to get a hit thanks to the delay, but since backstabs are client side, they got a half second advantage over me, from EU. This makes countering their bs attempts almost impossible and boy they love to bs a lot. I'm not sure if they're just trying to exploit the high ping, or simply use the most effective attack in the game because they can, but dealing with it is still super annoying. Now if you combine it with DWGR, you have an opponent which is almost ipossible to hit, due to the ping and which can roll bs anything you do even though they're still in the roll animation. To make matters worse, in the last week, 9 out of 10 guys I PvP with in Burg are Japanese (by their selected language in PSN and the high ping factor).

This. Lag free, any tactic can basically be countered but coming up against laggy players, whether intentional or otherwise, is a nightmare.

The ones that blame everything but themselves for a loss. It was lag, or their controller messed up or their dog barked and scared them and they didn't mean to do that attack you parried or you got lucky with that spell or they're really tired and should sleep.

The seemingly endless list of excuses I've heard for a simple lost duel in the burg...seriously it's not so big a deal you gotta try to cover it up like it's a 2 week late term paper. It was just one fight

My least favorite players would have to be spear gankers, it is the most annoying thing to vs a group of three randies all using spears u cant really do much about that, Oh i also hate 45 dex/ int builds

Well without knowing specifically who's on the other end I think it's a fair assumption based on language used for their PSN account

Edit: I presume you mean about my pedanticism comment. I would have hoped by now that everyone would know that nothing I say is ever meant in anything but a friendly, joking and non-offensive way. However, I apologise for the comment, since you may have taken it that way, but I cannot stress enough it was not my intention to insult or offend.

I always welcome some PvP experience, but I have to warn you. As Rob once said, I'm very boring to fight. My favourite weapon is Rapier, so fighting me involves lot of turtling, poking and constant fear of high crits. Also, the fights can drag on with me. My record is a fight when me and my opponent used 7 Green Blossoms each.

People who think there are some form of rules for pvp. If it can be done, it will be done, that's human nature. If you dont want to get backstabbed, killed by a crystal soul spear, or ganked (don't take part in any of these three). Don't invade.
If it's invaders that are annoying you, Play in your hollowed state.

I can't stand hate mail fishers. You gank me you win then you send me a message trying to provoke a hateful response. That is so petty.

I really don't have a problem with anyone but hackers. They make my blood boil.
