I wanted to play Demon's Souls with a relative low strength build.
My goal was sl 15 in ng and sl 25 in ng+.
ng was challenging at a few places but mostly no big deal. But then I started ng+. And here I tried to keep my sl 15 char at this level. But it was so difficult and so frustrating at some locations!
managable at sl 15 in solo fight was
1-2 Tower Knight
world 2 (except FL - here I needed a blue phantom)
then I tried 1-3 and this was where it got hard. I managed my way to the Penetrator but Penetrator was by no means possible for me. Biorr died as well. I summoned a blue phantom friend and we often died. My world tendency got darker and darker of course. And the Penetrator got stronger as well. At the end I had to go to sl 25 and I had to allow my friend to use his soul arrow magic. Up to this point offensive magics were forbiden in my fights. So finally we killed him.
Now we fougth our way through world 3. It was easy now since this world still was white. My Dragon Claymore+5 was very good! But when it came to the Men Eater our (my friends as a blue and mine) limit was reached. We died, I died, the world got darker and Men Eater became stronger - the same game as with the Penetrator. We took a 3rd man with us and still died.
I increased my sl to 45 and took my newly required Northern Regalia. This is very good a weapon at pure black CT. My friend used his magic (his toon is not a pure mage) and I my NR but we always died. We died always at an early point of the fight! At some point my friend quit and I tried on my own. My first solo was not too bad since I got ME down by 70%! I was really proud of this. I think the Friends Ring is very good in this fight. I was lucky because the 2nd ME was at the other side of the bridge for the whole time. I think he simply didn't see me. But at the end, after some recharging thing the remaining ME killed me!
I tried a few more times, but wasn't lucky again. ME is so strong! Mostly I already die in the time when only the first ME is on the bridge.
Do you have tips on how to do this fight (I'm melee)?
Please don't say: "level up to sl 125!" This is what I don't want. sl 45 is already much to high for my initially plans.
I desperately need some hints!

What I have noticed also is that I almost never see blue signs at sl 45 in this 3-2 area!
In fact I almost never see blue signs. Nobody feels like helping other guys.

I will manage this little fellow soon. I'm only a few trials short of it, I'm sure.
I already almost had him down.
It is a question of luck for sure! Unfortunately one doesn't have full control over some unlucky constellations or circumstances!
If they come both together near to you one truly would need a good amount of luck to manage to run through them to the other fog gate.
My potential to block is limited to only one hit (physical or magical). I need some time to bring back the stamina. If they hit both I'm dead. I pretty good can handle one at a time.
