It's pretty much dark souls 101 that you go to the forest if you wanna gank or be ganked. It's the meta the forest set up

I've seen what Demon described,I've been a catbro that waited but I don't so much try to play nice anymore. If you are trying to duel in the forest,chances are I'll just jump in and kill you for the lulz. I used to be an honour brigade kind of guy but thousands of fights in that lawless place changed how I play. People shouldn't be expecting duels there anyway,it always was the worst place with ganking.

Well yeah obviously some will (as I tried and failed to do in my time as a catbro), but I think that's a pretty small minority.. The forest has always been the darkest place for pvp, be it on honour, glitches, exploits mods or whatever. Always gonna be exceptions, but those are likely the exceptions that make the rule

If you're invading in the forest though, you're pretty much guaranteed to invade someone who want's to PvP.

It is so frustrating when people try to bring "honor" into the Forest. The Forest is perfect. It is an all out war. No holds barred. I love the feeling when I outsmart a host and his ganking phantom; putting them in their place. I also love it when I'm getting my arse kicked and see a catbro spawning who then rushes in to help. I'm like "backup is here!" It is a different type of PvP. That doesn't make it wrong. IMO, it is wrong, dishonorable even, to change the Forest. Go have your honor duels elsewhere.
And, BTW, I feel the same about the moonpit and PW, only in the opposite accord. Those places are where honor duels take place. It would be wrong to be ganking in that area. If you want to gank, go to the Forest.

I think the main point is that everyone should play out as they want, (as long as that doesn't involve hacking,) and that if someone has more fun rushing in, then they should, but if you have more fun bowing and letting them bow back, then you should do that instead. It's just whatever you want to do, even in a place like the forest.

Its like the Warhammer online at low levels, just a mad house of crazy at the capture points.
The only thing that needs to change in the forest is to have a higher summon rate for us catbros and more multiples of invaders Moons and Darkwraths for even more chaos!
It needs to be mandatory for Hosts to have a team of three in the forest to hold off the waves of crazy!
Besides, all the honorable one on one duels happen at the Arena!
