I don't know whether or not I want to participate in the Beta. In the Beta I get to play Dks2 early(yay) but then I ruin my "virgin playthrough" of Dks2. So I dunno what to do.

To test network servers, I feel the beta MIGHT, JUST MIGHT BE just a PVP playground sandbox in one of the toughest areas of the game (the last part, which I think already been revealed). The "sandbox" would hopefully have some enemies, placement of those, may or maynot be the same as the released game, but the main thing being tested is the summon/invasion mechanics and the servers involved. I get the feeling FROM is not going to spoil the virgin experience much, especially knowing that anything in the beta is gonna be leaked.EeAyEss wrote:I don't know whether or not I want to participate in the Beta. Does this mean that the 'signup' is/starts on September 5th? And is it an open-beta, or closed-beta? (open let's anyone join, closed has a maximum number of testers and closes anyone else once all of the slots have been filled)

I understand it as saying that signup or how to signup details will become available first thing 9/5. ( est? Pst? )

I'd think that it might be a closed beta, just a random guess though. I wouldn't join however, I'd rather play the game once it's released.
