    Hey guys. I'm having alot of issues with the pvp on PS3. Im always either getting lag stabbed or when im nowhere near an opponent their weapon is still hitting me where as on the xbox i rarely ever have these issues. Can you shed some light on why this is cause its kinda frustrating. Any help would be much appreciated happy

    Your connection is probably ok if you are not having these issues on xbox so I would put it down to the fact that Playstation network is a free service and as such is not quite as reliable as xbox live.

    Also don't forget that on ps3 there are many more DkS players from Japan. If you are in Europe then the ping can cause these issues.

    No problem. I only play on ps3 and my connection is often quite unstable so I have to put up with lagstabs etc as well. It's terrible if I invade somebody in a far off country when the connection is being dodgy, hopefully we'll get it upgraded soon!

    Also depends on the time of day.

    If I play during the time I tend to get matched up with people from Europe (Im in the US), but in the evenings and at night I mostly play with others in the states.

    I play on both, but ended up putting in a lot more play time on Xbox for those reasons.  Xbox Live is pretty solid, but it's been a paid service for a long time so the infrastructure is probably better than Sony's, which was free up until the launch of PS+.  It's gotten better, but still has some catching up to do.

    Blame it on the P2P system. You're not gonna get around it, regardless of console. Also, it might just be how you're playing. For example, if you roll during a wake up and you think you rolled away from them, you can still get backstabbed because on their screen it looks completely legit. The lag causes you to think you rolled away from it. You just have to learn the mechanics of the game.

    Perhaps PS3 players are better? After all, better players will be better at backstabbing (causing the backstabs to look "laggier" on your screen) and will be better at punishing rolls (the cause of "phantom range").

    It's called a pivot backstab. Or if they do it while you're swinging, a poise backstab.
