Sadly, the Fluffy Waifu is no match for the Iron Giant. It probably has other ways of sensing something than sight. Its unerring aim and high HP give Priscilla no chance.

I vote for Priscilla because I feel she could charm the Golemn into letting her go and jumping off a bridge only this one doesn't teleport you somewhere...

Also the image of the Golemn throwing Priscilla around is really disturbing for some reason

Priscilla dodges around like crazy when she's invisible. And as far as i know all bosses aim their attacks using lock-on. Since you can't lock on to priscilla when she's invisible, the iron golem will be flailing around aimlessly for most of the fight. I give this one to priscilla.

Edit: When she hits you you get flattened. Therefore it's safe to assume that her attacks do the same amount of poise damage as the other weapons that flatten you, the ultra greatswords. That's at least 51 poise damage. If one attack from the demon great hammer can stagger the iron golem. One attack from any other weapon that does the same amount of poise damage should also stagger him. the magic number in this case being 51.

Assuming this is correct. She could possibly stagger the iron golem in one hit. And cause it to fall off with the second one.

I can say with joy (my opinion, mind you) that Iron golem wins this one.

With the golems wide horizontal sweeping attacks, Priscilla's invisibility won't be of much use. Its possible even ONE direct hit from the golem can break her invisibility, making it even easier for the golem to deal with her.

True, her invisibility will give her a free hit, heck maybe even two, without the golem knowing where she is. But as soon as she damage it, it will be aware of her presence.

The golem simply cover too much space of the area for Priscilla to make proper use of a her camouflage. Priscilla's strong sides lies in her camouflage and a bleed abilities, but the Golem can effortlessly get her out of hiding AND its immune to bleed.

EDIT: Interestingly enough, Say Xbox  Again made me realize that The Iron Golem doesn't even have eyes. It probably uses it senses while fighting. When I take this into consideration, what use is Priscilla's invisibility at all if the Golem can't see anyway?

I don't think Iron Golem is actually capable of throwing you off, I've had him grab me, clearly facing towards an edge, and he actually turned and threw me into the middle.


On another note, I can't actually decide who would win based off discussion in thread, it seems to lean towards Iron Golem, but it's not that clear cut.


Actually nevermind, I went back over, and noticed most of the arguments for Priscilla are clearly invalid. (although a lot of props to Bassman Bob but sadly, we can't allow that argument to work.)

Iron Golem wins. 
Next round would be Manus vs Three Cats. I will auto give it to Manus, unless someone comes up with a good argument, then I may go back in and change it.

Round after that. Ornstein and Smough vs Artorias.

Tough call, tough call. Artorias has mobility, but so does Ornstein. Artorias hits like a train, but so does Smough. Artorias can power up, but so can O&S, though only once you kill one. I have to give it to Artorias, just because I think he could kill off Ornstein quickly and then overpower Smough with pure mobility. It would be close, though.

And truthfully, Ornstein's speed is really overrated, for him to move to do his (what I call) "lightning sprint" he stands still for a few seconds. He's quite slow if you fight his normal form one on one. 

Then again, this isn't a One on One fight though. Still say Artorias wins simply because his strength and overall power. I think it would destroy Ornstein and Smough.

Hmm... Lore-wise I'd give this fight to Ornstein and Smough. Smough was good enough to be one of the four knights, but his cannibalism made him a bad fit for the job and he got stuck as Executioner. Ornstein was said to be captain of the four knights. Team the both of them up against Artorias, who has his arm broken and his ability to think severely hampered if not completely gone, I'd say that Ornstein and Smough would win with some difficulty, Abyss powerups or not, Artorias probably can't take on two Knight level opponents at the same time.

Gameplay wise though, Artorias wins due to how aggressive he is and how he hits like a truck. Ornstein is relatively easy to stagger and Smough would attack too slowly to really do anything to Artorias.

I don't know who to vote for.

Lore wise: Ornstein alone might be able to beat him but when paired with Smough I'd say they definitely take the fight. 

Gameplay wise: I think that whenever Artorias went to rest/charge up they'd both destroy his health and Ornsteins mobility might help him survive Artorias stagger. 

I normally like voting lore wise anyway if I'm honest so I vote for O&S although I'm willing to be convinced that gameplay wise Artorias would win

This is actually a really tricky one.
Lorewise, I don't doubt for a minute, that Ornstein and Smough would win. I imagine their combined power would be just enough to overthrow the abyss powered Artorias.
Personally I believe Ornstein was stronger then the non-powered Artorias.

As for gameplay-wise, I am a bit uncertain. Artorias obviously outperfom both Ornstein and Smough, individually. But if the two actually work together, they could actually be a major threat to Artorias. Artorias hit like a truck indeed, but if O&S gang up on you and combine their attacks, so do they.
Artorias is a very aggressive boss, and he will be on the offense constantly, unless he is going to charge. He will not be focusing on taking one of the two down first, but will instead aim for the one who is closest him. This will probably balance O&S health, to be a par with Artorias's health (though not entirely)
Artorias's power up could potentially give him an easy win, but O&S can both get from one end of a room to the other in no time, and Artorias can actually be staggered really easy (about two-three swings) with a REGULAR club when he is charging. Just think of how easily Smough can stagger him, when Smough charges with his hammer.
Also, Smough will probably be the most aggressive of the two, making him an obvious target for Artorias. Meaning he would most likely end up fighting Super Ornstein. And with Artorias's aggressive behavior and Ornsteins really powerful buttslam, Artorias could be in a series of trouble, as Artorias will most likely be right beneath Ornstein.

I actually vote for O&S on this one.

Had this been a popularity contest, I would probably still vote for O&S.
O&S and Artorias is arguably my two favorite boss fights in the entire game. But for a good while, O&S what that one boss fight that defined what a souls game really is.

Wow, a tie at 5 to 5. I hope this doesn't keep up. I have no clue what to do then.

Gameplay-wise it's tough.

But O&S have the slight lore edge. Ornstein and Artorias are basically equals in the lore and Smough swings it to the duo.

It would be an epic battle, but I have to give the edge (albeit slight edge) to O&S. Two vs. One and Artorias will have to go down. If Arty was smart enough to eliminate them one at a time, it would be a different outcome. Also, while Arty was wailing away at one of the team, the other would stagger him and allow both opponents to team up on him again. < ROAR >

And the stalemate is finally broken!
