Hmm... I don't even know what to say to not sound like an arrogant idiot. That video is just clips of some of my better moments in the forest. My goal was to make the video entertaining and funny, not to shore up my ego. That's the last thing i'm trying to do.

And Reim, what do you mean you've beaten me once, are you joking? I was the one who got my *** kicked and begged you for a pvp lesson. You may not remember it, but i do dammit! It was back in 1.05 when i had just started pvping

On a serious note, Roan is pretty damn good. Definitely one of the best players i've fought and obviously much better than i am.

I guarantee it is not me. I never consistently win for any extended period of time.

Roan is awesome. Rif is pretty damn good too. I usually only win on accident, or one of them is drunk, tired, or sick.

Renegade - no fear Wolf is one of the best sparring partners out here. He does use the Hornet Ring but that is cool because it is one of the best ways to learn not to get parried (or not as much ) for if you do it could mean a quick & brutal death .Just watch your swings and you will do just fine. No matter how many times you get murdered by Wolf - you will be a better fighter at the end of the day.

Ok people - since I think I have a good rapport with people in this thread and I value everyone's input - provide some feedback on the draft rules for the DkS II tourney.

- No WoG / TWoP (this includes Stone Sword special attack) / Pursuers

- No "white" or "dark" magic (i.e. dark bead, dark orb), pyro (i.e. great combust, dark flame, combust) SPAMMING - (I define spamming as more than one cast in quick succession. I am also on the fence about allowing any of the dark magic)

- No power buffs (SLB, DMB, CMW, GMW or MW) - (I'm kinda on the fence in regards to allowing GMW and MW - I would like to see some good swordplay not death of an opponent in 2-3 swings)

- No wake-up attacks after a riposte, BS, or other types of knock-downs

- No chain BSs (This should be obvious per rule directly above)

- No BS fishing (Note: Punish BSs are allowed - for example if your opponent does a 1H L. Club attack and misses leaving their back completely open a punish BS is justified)

- No modded builds / armor / weapons / spell-swaps & glitches

- No Darkwood Grain Ring (I am on the fence about this one - I don't use the ring but I know some builds are built around it).

- If random invades we will try to determine their intent - if they interfere with the tourney they have to go the easy way or the hard way its their choice. Please don't let he host (ME!!) get killed unnecessarily

Since I have good rapport with most if not all of the invited players I don't believe any of the above rules are too onerous.

Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

Well people I am officially back in the forest . Finally got my SL140 DM up to speed and invaded a few times last night - oh how I had missed the rush of it all. No bowing just straight to business - love it!! Got banged and killed three times in a row but finished off the night with a decent 2v2 win. Hopefully I will have time to get back in there tonight - need to shake the rust off my anti-banging skills .

They have to catch me first - whilst I am pelting them with arrows, now once they do catch me they eat either ( WoG, BS, BS phantom ) (BS, WoG, BS ) (GLGSD, wakeup WoG, BS, Wakeup WoG) I also use the emit force quite efficiently - but I feel this build is more obnoxious than a spear user. My health may be low, but you have to hit me first xD Oh god though, it is horrible when I get into RTSr for them. I hit them for like 500 with arrows and can if I want 800-900 with WoG, I also have the rapier dash attack for a decent amount - It is just hell for them.

HAHA - good ole Infamaous - how u been doing bro? Good to see u still wrecking havoc in ye ole forest. I'm just glad to be back in the forest on the regular - were rules are optional. Never been one to use light DEX weapons in the forest so I'm trying to adjust as best as I can. Hopefully u will be uploading some of ur exploits over these ganking fools.

I miss this so much... I just can't get excited about it anymore. I've been reading through the old threads for this and I got so much nostalgia at our epic stories, but I don't feel like there's anything like that anymore, at least on PC. The rush of a 1v2 was amazing, but now it's almost exclusively hackers and bad duelists.
