Xenosaga was a good game, too...

And excuse me for saying this, but I would rather play any crappy graphic Final fantasy game rather than Final Fantasy 13. Ohmygawd.

    This^

And that applies to most games. Very few series are actually getting better as time goes by, and titles come out. FF isn't one of them.

    But that's just me.

I've been jumping around on quite a few of my GC games lately, most of them are over 7 years old by now. The one I've been putting the most time into would be either Wind Waker or Need for Speed: Most Wanted.

Both have been good for killing some time.

How about Dark Forces II: Jedi Knight or it's sequel Jedi Knight II?  I LOVE both of these games and go back and play through them more often than I should get enjoyment from.  Just fantastic games.

    The MechWarrior franchise in general.

Veng was always my favorite. With mercs being a bit cooler with its additional mechs. And MekTek just made it even more awesome. But even that community is now all but dead. =(

Bugs Bunny and Taz: Time Busters. My brother and I used to play it together all the time, it was amazingly fun, especially for a bugs bunny game.

You should all try it out sometime if you can.

I didn't overly enjoy JK2 or its sequel Jedi Academy (although, I was part of JA roleplaying for a few years and those were some great times) but I loved Dark Forces II, definitely one of my favorite childhood games. Alongside:

Only on the original 'fat' models. The various slim versions have no backwards compatibility whatsoever which is silly.
    A) no. I have a slim and it plays ps1 disks just fine. Cant say for the new modle that opens on top, but i'm pretty sure you mean PS 2 games. The origional played those, and none of the others do.

    b) skies of arcadia.

    c) where in ______ is carmen sandiego

    Spoiler:
I hated Jedi Academy, part of what I like so much about JK I & II is that you don't have any powers at the start and have to rely on the FPS aspect, but by the end you can take on anything with just a lightsaber and force powers, but you have to earn it.  Having all the powers from the beginning of JA just ruined it for me.
