Forest of the Damned - Covenant Event (3/24/12)

It's all good, as long as it gets nipped in the butt in time. I can't get any invasions either, man the forest must have been hit really hard. Either that or there's just so many invaders every world is constantly filled. Still Gravelording though, getting the odd invasion though it has kind of slowed down.

I will be going after pernicious caitiffs in a couple hours to wrap up. Hope to see everyone there. Now to charge my phone!

So what is the consensus so far? Did things seem about the same or is there a noticeable push back? Jumping on now to see what is what.

I can barely invade, and when I do invade the farmers seem to be very frightened and sheepish, they won't leave comfort zones and hide behind shields. Actually makes things easier haha.

I agree. The last guy I invaded, before I pulled out, jumped off a cliff the second I spawned.

Alright, I just had a hilarious kill/death. Me and a DW chased two farmers to the bridge, the farmers ran around the corner. I ran forwards casting Tempest, figure the DW would just back up. Then I can see, he's casting it too! In my mind I think, "Well, we're dead." Then around the corner comes the two farmers, also casting fire tempest! My entire screen filled with pillars of fire as everyone died, man I wish I could record Reim haha!

That's an epic kill/death. The one I saw was not as cool. I saw a DM and a farmer both use wrath of the gods, and both got thrown off the bridge area over by Sif. I like yours much better. It's times like that that you have to marvel at the probability of such events. ;D

Thinking back on it, that DW must have been trying to kill me! I would have been boxed in, still it was awesome. I saw something similar to that, a fellow hunter and lone guy, so I stood back to watch. Both of them ran at eachother casting WotG at the same time and had a ton of casts. They both killed eachother by constantly hitting eachother at the same time with it. It was like watching two guys but heads till they passed out haha. I used the trident to dance about as they fought to make it even more ridiculous.

Lost of crazy fights tonight, but now I'm back to getting no invasions to work.

Last thing before i crash. Rough math puts my kill count at 326 in 21 hours. Thats an average of 1 kill every 3 minutes. Considering match finding time, I'd say i was reasonably successful today.

That's very successful, one kill is a success if you ask me since most of the time we will be fighting 2-3 opponents at once. Very great work Forum!

Holy hell! That is an awesome stat.

I've tried the blue eye, cracked red, and the cat ring and have not received so much as a single sniff...

We may be running out of farmers. I know if you go into the forest human, something I don't suggest doing by the way, you get swarmed by invaders in seconds.

Maybe we've killed everyone? Forum sure put a dent into their confidence.

Wow, that's kind of astonishing.

Plus I imagine the many Lifehunt guys left their toll as well, it looks like the battle has been a smashing victory, though I don't believe the war is yet over.

Better not be. I'm getting on soon. I hope you guys saved me some farmers.

Been trying for an hour now. Normally the cat ring has me scrambling like a bellhop, tonight I literally only hear crickets.

Im SL 120 and Alvina keeps calling.

That was same for me.

Yeah, I went about an hour without getting summoned, and I was slightly lower then lvl 90. St. Ornstein and his crowd did some major damage, and even I got about 237 kills in the time I was on, despite my level. We did a nice push back all together.

I've got to see it is pretty amazing to see such a push made, I'm so proud of everyone for how this event has gone. Ultra very nice work, I imagine we could get our numbers a lot higher if could actually invade haha.

I agree fully. Just glad we could do so much damage. And this is all over Lordran too! We fought on all fronts, and held our own. Have to say, this is the funnest Dark Souls event I've done since the Tomb of Giants Kick only Fight club.
