So...yeah. Lets start.

Not sure what yours is, is that Gwyndolyn? Either way, it is a rather well done drawing, I will give it an 8.8/10

Berkut, I have no idea what it is, really, but it reminds me of like a cyberpunk version of 'the great wave'. I give it a 10, 'cause hell, it's well balanced (aesthetically speaking), the color scheme is sweet, and it's pretty unique (at least, to me).

Blood - I loved your old one, this one is good too but 8.7/10 since I wish I could see it in more detail. the art looks amazing.
Berkut - I like how it flows into itself 8.5/10 for the same reasons as blood, I wish it were bigger

Yeah seriously, I literally came to this thread hoping you'd have posted in it, Yukon, just so I could tell you how ****ing badass that one is and to ask where you found that picture.

Also, the first time I ever saw my avatar was when I was visiting Pittsburgh and went to the Andy Warhol museum, which just happened to be having an Alex Ross exhibit...it was by far my favorite painting, with

coming in at a close second.

Also, I love Plastic Man, so that stuff was sweet, too. But Batman's always been my favorite since I can remember.

Now now, flattery has no place in this thread. Its from the guide book or something. its lop-sidedness has always bugged me but I am pretty fickle with avatars. I am just too lazy to adjust.

Also, I love this guys art, really cool use of black shading and everything. I am not much of a comic reader but grew up with batman cartoons and what-not and have read a few of the comics but am in no way able to place artists and writers on a chart and name the comics they worked on haha.

@ Yukon: For some reason, yours has always brought a feeling of something that I could picture being drawn in an older time, pre-technology kind of era. The look of it also seems to provide a sense of a lonely wanderer, don't really know why, I quite like it (9/10).

Haha, I said I didn't want a rating and I got rated the most of everyone here. Go figure.

Seeing the picture in full detail is really making me appreciate it a lot more, Okami is really such an interesting and innovative game. I need to get around to finishing it some time, i'll keep kicking myself to get on it.

Yeah I was torn between this one and my old one. I liked my old one because it looked darkmoony. Maybe I should just use my old one.
Edit: Ok I returned it to my old one. Thought that my other one was too small.

Awh, I googled the image to get a better look but you already changed it back to the old one. I get more of a darkwraith vibe from this one tbh, but it does have a more active feel.

You know what would be cool? If your weapon got redder and redder as you killed more people. It wouldn't effect the weapon performance, and you could wash it off if you want it to, but it would still be cool.

Off topic, but since you are the OP and you are driving it there I intend to indulge!

I always loved how the shields often have wear on them, like chips and gashes. It would be neat if they had made that a deterioration effect and eventually you would need to repair or replace your shield as it lost integrity visibly, it would be neat to see the shields slowly get more and more banged up and kind of play on the dev's desire to make you care about your weapons as andrei tries to tell you in his first bit of dialogue

ALSO, since no one rated carphil and we kind of ignored his link (it was a month old and I am oblivious and not OP, I feel justified.) When I was still lurking and not posting I really liked your avatar, and I have kinda come to expect good posts from the wise wolf sif. Love the coloring 9/10 I think.

I just like how it looks.

Your current avatar gets a 9.5 out of 10. The art of the warrior fighting in the rain somehow emphases just what dark souls is about. Darkness, grit, despair, and loneliness, yet with the spirit to fight on.
