This would be cool with me. I'm rarely human in DkS, and I usually only do it because I need help. For instance, I was human yesterday to beat Gwyn and got invaded about 4 times. Every single time I ran away from the invader to signal, 'hey, I'm not dueling.' Every single one tried to kill me anyway.

If I came across a cool invader, I'd be polite.

Then I'd try to kill him by any means necessary. I don't like uninvited guests.

Oh, can you do FC at level 123? If not, is there any way to shed levels (like soul sucking in DS?)

well...i must be realy unlucky coz the last sot of fair 1v1 i had ended up with the host wotging me to the ground and chain backstabbing me 5 times i allwayst roll towards the people to avoid that but that dude backstabbed me before the getting up animation...i truly do not understand why people lag stabb glitch or go at an sl 10 with a wotg... i had 2 friends trying out drs both of them couldent even get to the burgs boss coz of grifers(i forgot to explain the human/hollow thing)... how do these people still play the game i think they must be having a hard time back were they live to do this kinda things... i encountered another dude it was morning i invaded and see 2 tanks both with bkga i go fot a bs and the phantom uses wotg i bs the host bt hes still living then i get ganged from both sides n killed... the host sends me a message 'lol another nood bites the dust' im like hate mail your doing it wrong no realy why send something like that???i asked him for a 1v1 n he told me something on the lines dont cry and go my mamma the next messages he sent me was how hes older then me and how i cant spell...i was like ***** pliz you dont even no wt net slang is stupid kid... at the end i invaded him again this time 1bs for the phantom and i killed the dude with poisen arrows n a bs... i sent him a message 'lol a true nood bites the dust'

By the way Rin the way to avoid chain BS is rolling back into them. See they can chain as long as your back is to them, but you'll quickly switch and roll back into them forcing your face to them, rolling into them and dodging the attack. There are ways to still BS people doing the roll back into trick, but they'd have to know you were going to do it first so it is tricky. My personal favourite is Pivot Parry Riposte Chain Bs Counter. As you get up turn instantly towards them and parry, as they try to chain they'll get parried and you can riposte them. The time is tricky though especially with lag.

I don't mind their tactics if they're creative, though. One PvPer lured me into the alcove next to the cliff, by the stairs, and hit me with a Dragon King Greataxe 2H shockwave. I was impressed.

Well Tolvo, i think the lam guy u talked about was me. I am sorry that u caught into that annoying encounter. But after last saturday, when i got gang raped like crazy, and now i saw 3 guys head toward me so u tell me wat should i do. Idk wat lvl u guys r !!! I just know now i have to defense myself and defeating this gang. I always do that gesture to the gang i defeat. If u still remember my tag, u can message me anytime or ask Broke about me... Levels can be estimated by location, if you are invading in the burg/parish, you're going to get low level players.

I am sorry Tolvo, did not read ur post clearly. My battle is in the forest and its sound exactly like ur story.... Except i did not pau attention at ur saying helping ppl to kill gargoyles. And i used twop to slow all 3 down then kill them all with my crystal painting guardian sword with dmb. I am very sorry for the misunderstanding. I think i should take a break and stay away from dks for awhile. Cheers

Tolvo, i know. To day is wed. I think i still had little after taste of sat. Being gang up so many times and i killed lots of them too. Last couples day i slept only couples hrs. 10 hrs for working... And the rest is for dks. Anyway, 3 guys were gang up on me today. I spawn at fog door. 1 stood at half way stair, 1 closevto the cliff and the last one little further down to the left side of fog door. As soon as i appear they all cast twop then close up the parameter... My poor warrior got wog and falling down like a xmas tree.

Level 1-20 were the two I were with, and I was level ten. It definitely wasn't us as we were in a different area.

Yeah, the forest is hell man. It can change people sometimes, but when it gets to that point yeah you just need to take a little break. I'm currently still on my little break after the Forest of the Damned event, but I'll be returning to the forest soon.

That person may know a very dark trick which should never be explained sadly, you probably didn't have a chance. I don't mean, "You were undergeared, or weren't skilled enough to beat them." I mean, they literally did something that makes it so that you can not live by abusing a glitch, so don't blame yourself for that death.

Ah, then yes most likely a case of bad net. Probably on his screen you were standing up meaning he could initiate a backstab, so you would be killed mid getting up. Makes sense then.

I had a match so laggy i was taking damage while the host was on the other side of the room swinging at air, teleporting around.

iv been trollin grifers yesterday XD you know when y have a bow in 2 hands and press R1 or R2 he dose that weird hand thing i was running while spamming thoes 2 at same time it looked proper funny wt i did was kill phantoms but not the host n then i just run looking like a total troll is was hilarious

One thing i realised with the forest is that it is very easy to get invaded, and i can happen ALOT at times. one time im trying to get to the wolf where a mate and another guy are waiting to be summoned for the wolf battle. i gett invaded thice before i even see the wolf gate. then again i get invaded twice. got invaded more. i think the thing is with the forest is because of the covanant, people are easily prone to invasions. people like to fight. summon people, farming began.

At the end of battles, if ive died, i usually look out for how the host will react, be polite or not. yes there farming tactics can be very cheap but gotta cope. I think i can handle them, just need now to get a stronger wep.

lol not tryin to be mean but no **** dude :/ thats the entyre point of places like the forest n dark londo...oh and the bkga is a good beginner weapon i know it gets a lot of hate but at +5 with the speed it has its real good and if that dosent work for you pick a weapon u like and make it +5 wit lightning or chaos i wouldent pick a gs coz its too overused

@rin Not really. It hinders skill development, starts them relying on their gear. Its a great weapon but i wouldn't say for beginners. I would recommend trying everything and seeing which weapon they like best.

And by your logic you shouldn't breathe because air is over used.

@Peaceful ar doesn't mean much. my mains ar is 440, i do less than 150 damage a swing most of the time. I also win most of the time. its all in skill and preference assuming your gear is upgraded properly.

My view is always get a weapon with an animation that feels right in your hands, AR is nice but anything can be deadly in the right hands. If I were to advise weapons my only advice for the forest is stunlocking weapons, they work great on farmers.
