what yall think of this build?

All armor of thorns cept legs which r iron giant legs.
Notched whip +15 with fire pine resin.
Ring of favor, and ninja flippy ring.

Flaming notched whip plus armor of thorns = 1 million points for style. However, you'll probably die constantly due to the fact that the notched whip pretty much sucks at everything besides looking cool.

I hate the dark wood grain ring, so no, I don't liked.

I actually have been doing we'll with the whip I think its underestimated, gotta play rly smart and hit and run a lot hence the flip ring. Its blows chuncks for pve though can bs with it .

Hey, if you can make it work, all the better. I find the lack bs'ing, lack of poise damage, lack of speed, and medium range of the weapon to be challenging, to say the least.

I can't agree with Carphil about the ring. It sounds like it makes perfect sense with your build. Also, no one could ever accuse you of cheesing, because your build is incapable of doing the prototypical cheesy moves (e.g., pivot bs'ing). I say it looks good.

I try to avoid bsing unless its used to punish like when someone cast say sunlight spear then id go for a bs but I def done fish for them.

Dark wood grain ring, good choice

Ring of favor, good choice also

Notched whip, ummm no...not nearly enough damage to kill an enemy

armor of thorns with giants leggins, good choice


just the notched whip is the only thing wrong with the build

it just suucks

I'm not familiar with the stamina usage of whips. If the whip doesn't burn much stamina, which sounds about right, then your stats look pretty good. The whip scales at A when it's fully upgraded, and it bases at 190, so I would think you'll be getting a decent return on your investment there. Your vit is a little lower than most builds around this level, because so many of them are elemental, but I think you can manage.

Sitting at around 1300 hp, 149 stm I think, can get around 5 swings with the whip b4 running out. I think its 4 is 360 unbuffed.

how about ricards rapier upgrade to suit your needs. probably +15 and buffed it. i kind of like that weapon and its moveset. i dont know how good it is for pvp but for pve is great

I was thinking of trying that out as a back up , but the main point of the build was for the whip.
