They are a bit annoying when I'm trying to help new players though, it ends with me having to spend a lot more time typing to explain mechanics to people. I get the MLP background as a joke, but the censorship is genuinely aggravating.

I feel like an idiot when I look back at a post and see Ponies every other word hahaha.

Besides, it's just for a day, might as well try and enjoy it a bit. I for one have been typing the censored words whenever I want to actually type Ponies. See right there I actually typed "so.ul.s" without the periods instead of Ponies. And I did it again there

Just to offer a little insight on this one folks since it seems to have caused a little consternation. The mod team thought long and hard about our new language filtering policy. The decision to add words to the filter is never one taken lightly.

However in this instance, we it was felt it was justified in order to better integrate with our new friends and make the community merger a smooth one. I realise that this may cause a few teething problems as people adjust, but all in all, we feel it's a positive(ly vibrating!) and necessary change.

On behalf of the mod team and the ponies, I'd like to thank you all for your continued support.
