Sunbros honour down the toilet?

Really Sif isn't a boss that requires summons anyway, he's a cool fight but still he's very easy.

Lol. The first time I fought Sif I was in pretty much starter gear. I got the Breastanite Demon with the Drake Sword special attack very early. Trees are a joke I got the rusted iron ring pretty much right after I beat the Gargoyles. (took the elevator, saw a ledge and said "HELLOOO!"). So I was able to run past Hydra McHydrason. Rolly cats were arrowed and mushrooms aren't hostile so.......Sif was tough as heck for me. Fat rolling away from swords with the knowledge one hit might kill you and the double attack always stunned and almost killed me each time. Long story short......there's still no need for Sun Bros at the steps. Solaire is a sad panda

I have a sunbro doing the same thing. Also one in the parish, and working on one for the archives.

The "sunbros" in the forest are not true sunbros. They have perverted their faith in pursuit of vile farming. On some websites supposedly using a sunbro sign in there is actually an indicator that you want to help farm. As someone who loves coop and the sunbro covenant, this is actually why I made some FH toons -- for great justice.

Almost all of the "Sunbros" I've encountered, besides Solair himself, were douches. But so too with Gravelords. I wish there were more people out there who actually took covenants seriously.

Ironically, I've never met a Darkmoon Blade. I never seem to acquire any sin.

I kind of like the fact that there are renegade sunbros out there, especially that they gather in the forest. They're like fallen brethren, or something. Adds to the player lore.

yes it does add to lore but alot of people dont like gankers and prefers that sunbros help with bosses not double teaming

when i gravelord at least 2 out of 3 invaders start dancing and give me eyes of death, the rest just kill me. when i engage in jolly co-operation its only in the lord areas and so far so good, also once in the archives i ended up hosting a mini tournament against this one strange red phantom and all the sunbro's bowed before their matches when summoned to duel the invader (i stood off to the side with binocs!) most other summons just charged... so it varies from area to area and time of day.

How are gravelords douches when 99% of them fight alone? So yea you will have some that will attack you while spawning but that's about it.

Only a small percentage of sunbros are jerks. In fact, just now a sunbro helped me with the four kings. When i messaged him saying "thank you," he replied "the pleasures all mine." Classy guy.

Too be fair nobody said anything about Gravelord Honour. Most of the time I figure Gravelords, being one myself, are forced to be **** so as to duplicate eyes.

We don't have the luxury of taking it easy on you for a second. Not with all the OHKO builds, chain BSing, and various other goodies. As GLS has one of the hardest covenant items to aquire and a finicky system some have resorted to being asses.

I always screw over the first invader during a GL session so I earn my eye that I just spent back.

As for sunbros can't say I like em these days. Back when I was starting out in DkS I was looking actively for thier signs.

their is still some good one at bosses but any sunbro in forest and kiln is not a sunbro just an imitator

Well, looking at the post I'm going to say that calling a large % of Sunbros jerks on a forum that has a large % of Sunbros might not be the best idea in the world.

Lol yeah comments like that started the great covenant flame wars that were going on when I joined this forum.

I'm a Gravelord too, I know it can be hard. But it's not very encouraging for the people invading when they get slaughtered the second they spawn. I've been chain BSed, hit with Chaos Fireballs, hit with Gravelord Sword Dances, ganged up on by a GL and a Darkwraith, roasted with Chaos Firestorms, ect., all right when I spawned. Literally two seconds into the fight, and I'm dead. Out of the eight time I've invaded, only one was a legitimate fight. So I just straight up don't invade anymore.

I'm sure that's not how all Gravelords are. Considering my luck, it's totally likely I'm just getting the assholes. But that still doesn't give me much reason to invade anymore if all I'm going to do is get ganked.

My covenants better than yours herp derp. Seriously it's like the WOW community all over again.

If we're going to talk about covenants full of Jerks, Princess Guard. I mean really, where do they get off? I'm trying to go through my level and can flask in a second, but no, they want to sit back and cast that long as heal while we could already be fighting O&S!

I've got nothing against any Cov really, even the Darkmoons who have a bad rep are perfectly fine on my radar, I see the **** and saints of every cov constantly. There are just certain areas you shouldn't look at for the idea of the covenant. Don't look at the Burg for an idea of DW's and DM's. Don't look at the forest for an idea of the Sunbro. These are people using the covenant in a way to grief, but many don't. I actually play every covenant, outside of WoW, Chaos, and Princess Guard.

i wish the chaos cov had some sort of pvp option though... like infecting players with eggs and using a parasitic orb to invade.

Aw man, how awesome would it be if fighting a Chaos Servant was the only way to get an Egg Vermifuge?

Even so its not like you lose anything when you keep invading the Gravelord their effectiveness follows a parabola. They start out pretty low and the more they beat enemies the more effective at killing you they become (at least in my experience anyway) but at a certain point they use too many estus or abilities and get steadily get weaker and weaker until someone kills em (aka you).

Given that some many other covenants have it so easy getting their cov items I make it my duty to invade and keep invading any gravelord or dragons I see even if I die cheaply every time. eventually I'll have my revenge but until then I'm just helping them by dying.
