Increasing dex does improve cast speed, but, according to the wiki, increasing str dosent improve weapon speed.

I know that the wiki says the str does not increase weapon speed, but I could swear that a claymore swing on my str/end toon is faster than my dex/faith toon.

If STR does increase weapon speed I am pumpin' that up to 99. Faster great scythe would be epic.

Dont quote me. This was not based off of any hard data or any length of testing. Just a couple swings that felt sluggish. It never felt sluggish on my str toon.
If it does in fact actually speed it up, I would be pretty sure that the sacaling is on par with everything else. After 30 or so str, the hypothetical speed increase would be so minuscule that pumping that much str into your character would not be overly beneficial.
Perhaps its time for some testing of my own. If I find anything solid out, I will be sure to make a thread on it.
