The host must not have killed the boss. I was SL 104 and I could summon SL 120s.

Same Level Restrictions as the Red Orb, so you invade at 10% of your level, and up. You can only be summoned in areas where the boss is still alive in other people's world, but you can be summoned while your boss is dead.
