FC Demon's Souls Event

This is to gauge intrest for all our fellow fight club members who still have a copy of Demons Souls on hand. I personally had not touched it (until last week) since October when DKS came out. As most of you know as of yesterday's sad news, the Demon's Souls servers are going dark forever on May 31st. In homage to this awesome game (my favorite game of all time) I suggest we load up some of our old builds (I know I still have a vading faith great axe build and a crecent dex build) and hold a couple of fight club events back in 4.1 and the 1.1 dragons nest area. Atlus is doing PWW for the 1st half of the month and PBW for the second half of the month so dragon's nest will be open to everyone the first two weeks. I may do a run of the whole game from starting class if anyone wants to co-op it with me (to say goodbye to the best game of all time). Let me know your thoughts. I am thinking Friday or Sunday nights at 10 EST so we don't interfere with DKS FC on Sat nights. I also Think we should have one Final Event on Thursday May 31st from 8 PM until the servers are shut off that night. Let's give it a proper farewell!

Ok, any one interested in this should add me in psn and send me a pm with the title demons souls throwback. I will edit my original post with this info too. I will then invite you to the chat. Let's start with sun. nights after 10est and see how that works (after game of thrones lol). We may add in some other days too. My psn id is kingphisher2. There are no rules. Everything goes including backstabs. There will be people from the other wiki joining in so we get lots of blue and red signs. Last night was a blast. Can't wait to get into it tonight!

i still have my faith build, im gonna miss demon's souls. for me its the second greatest game of all time(metal gear solid on ps1 is the greatest, that last song always gets me). i gotta sharpen my blessed Meat Cleaver then.

I have a sl 171 toon there on asia version
Sl 80 on us version
Sl 55 on europe version

Never used the meat clever. I remember it had a huge stat requirement and scaled with like 3 stats. I hope we get enough interested to hold a couple of Demon's Souls events:) I have some friends from the other wiki and Umbasa KBC that would likely welcome a joint event so there are enough of us.

Better PVP scene than Dark, imo. I miss those days.

SL120?

Goblin, It would likely be sl 120-130 event, but I can dupe 99 Beast souls to whoever needs them to quickly level to that range (I think I still remember how to drop them lol). Or, if you have one you can Thomas dupe it to get 99:) So that's three of us so far.

If our scheduling is similar I'm down. It would be the perfect opportunity to brush up on the Demon's Souls play style and I'd like to make a new PVP build that's more interesting than my current one (mirdan hammer, way too common).

SL120?

It's like riding a bike. 4.1 was empty last week when I loaded up. I had only a few fights. I won my 1st one, was jumped by a host and 2 blues in the second, and got beat in a close one on my last fight. Waited for 20 min with no invasions after that last one so I quit and loaded up DKS.

I will edit my original post and add interested parties and details as they come. My thoughts are to stay away from Sat. FC time sisnce I would not want any reduced interest in that event. I am thinking either Friday night or Sunday Night at 10 PM EST. I can also do a week nights late if that is better for everyone. Can we get a sticky for this?

I'd prefer week nights but honestly I'd take time off work to do this... Haha.

Let's see how many we can get interested and we will get a consensus. This should be awesome!

Does anyone know if the EU or Japanese versions are still going to be online after the NA servers go down?

I'm in for sure. I've never done any fight clubbing but I'm down to give it a shot. My main toon is SL90 but 120 from there shouldn't be too much of a grind depending on when you guys schedule this event.

On a side note if anyone needs any materials for trade before Atlus turns the lights out and you have a toon that's within co-op range, I have at least a few of everything and I have all my weapon trophies already. I wouldn't need anything in trade. Be happy to give away whatever. The only thing I could use is if somebody would be willing to let me hold their Northern Regalia for long enough to trigger my knight's trophy. My PSN ID is the same as my name here. Feel free to shoot me a message if you'd like any materials.

If i can figure out where it went, i'll dust off my gaxe with peoples faces one last time.

One of us vets can dupe you whatever souls and weapons you need for this. If you have the spells you want you are all set.

i'd like to participate as well. However, first PS3 died so I only have one character on the new one. I can't recall exactly but I think it's passed the 120 mark....sadly.

I'll double check tonight and edit or re-post with the verdict. If people are starting new play throughs then maybe we could try to organize something. There's just so little time!

Because people are digging up old character, I am not thinking of a hard sl 120 cap. All of my DS characters were sl 125 because that was the norm. 115 to low 130's would be acceptable imo. Like I said before, I can help dupe as well, but I am not sure I still have a sl 20 duping character so it would be a high level. I can always get someone to soul-suck one of my guys back down though if need be. A couple of friends from the other wiki are going to join in as well:)
