regarding the covanent line thread alliances...

wouldn't we be allied with the seath cov because of they're use of crystal weapons? after all those are one of our rolemodels main exports. also he sells boss armor would that make us allies with POLG or the noble knights? (cause the armor could be seen as a trophy for the nk or as standard uniform for polg)

In economic terms crystal weapons are insane. They are high powered and therefore desirable but they break easily and can't be repaired. Disposable weapons.....keep the buyers coming

You cant be allied with Seath! i was just about to propose a trade agreement! The knights need supplies if they're going into Lordran. And since the knights hang out in the dukes I was going to be giving you a large share of the crystal weapons the knights found in return!

What do you need in return for a fine trade?

My knights will need armours and weapons. It can be hard to acquire full sets like steel or balder without a lot of luck/souls.

OI, the hunters already have dibs on Sweden. Peddler's can be the free trade network of the world

right but we may have enemies in the assasins of vinheim cov as they are open to thefts and heists (i asked:P ) and theives aren't a merchants best friend.

Depends on the merchants , a lot of goods sold are stolen after all

also i've got my peddler toon started and already have a story from the burg!

basically i invaded in domnal+smough armor with no weapon showing and waited for the host to finish slaying hollows, while waithing, seeing that they hadn't bb glitched i decided to give them a freebe claw (unupgraded) after that we commenced naked fist fighting after the host hesitantly picked up the weapon! (well i kept my domnall hat on...) afterwards i got a pm saying "best invasion ever!"

I think that the fence is a great idea, in fact, we can get a very intricate thing going with the assassins, we could continually contract them to thieve items from others (not sure how that would work), which we would trade for, and then we would trade those to our customers, with the hope that the assassins could 'obtain' equipment back from our customers so that we can trade it to them again.

also regarding the life hunters... how do we interact with them? customers like any other?

I don't know much about them (I haven't really looked at the covenant section much before now), I would say yes? a customer?

Anyway, I have to say, I am pleasantly suprised about this covenant. Originally I wasn't very impressed with the user covenants. But Domhnall has been my favorite character in the game since release I had to come read. I'll join your ranks. I'm not 100% sure when my Peddler will be done but I'll start working on it.

Since Domhnall sells crystal stuff and boss armors ( I know boss stuff has been mentioned) I think that adding at least crystal if not boss armor too to the uniform list would be lots of fun and open up more level ranges and build options for the members. As it stands, adventure set is heavy. And unless you expect every member who is under level 60 to have FaP and havel's/flip then we may want to open up the options.

Yes, I know that we are peddlers of sorts but in the world we are walking around in we need to be ready for combat when trading isn't an option. Maybe make it so that we have to show up as the adventurer gear and if a duel is agreed upon or combat is a must we are allowed to get distance and switch to our combat gear? (boss armor or crystal that is)

It sounds like the consensus is that our actions should define us rather than the armor set. As I will not be a dictator of fine trades I announce that the original post shall be henceforth altered to allow any armor. The preferred set shall still be the adventurer with a STRONG preference for Domhnall but I believe our mission of messaging persons our intentions speaks can speak for us. Also.....any thoughts on berkut's late Easter plan? I say next weekend, all weekend long to allow a wide range of users to participate....since we're not mass invading so to speak our shenanigans don't have to be rigidly focused.


On truces and treaties....I say that, to start we trade with all parties to work on phase three....profit! If someone pisses us off......we're peddlers of sorts....and warriors of other sorts they shall find!

That one usually works. Can always direct people to the forums if they like the shenanigans we pull. And raise our voices a lot when we talk with other covenants. Make sure they heard us and respect us

i've started setting up a trade agreement with seath's sorcerors on provisioning them with crystal weaponry. also my attempt to get the red eye orb failed so im either going to have to buy craked ones or go forest hunter... of course i could always charge extra during red invasion on account of shipping costs...

My sunbro character my soon have a whole bunch of souls that he has no use for so I may join in unofficialy for the easter things, dropping a ton of items when Im summoned. Also do you have a gesture to signify who you are yet? Maybe point down?
