Andre of Astora, the most powerful person in Dark Souls.

Anyone here on NG+infinity who has never killed Andre, please go to it, then post your thoughts. He is far and away the most ridiculously over-powered thing in the game. I just did it and still can't quite believe it.

I've killed him once before -- it was on NG+ -- and I didn't notice anything at all interesting about him, so I went down there, 2-handed my +15 Falchion, swung a few times to take him out, next thing I know I'm dead. 1734 hp gone in a blink.

Four Kings, S & O, BoC, they practically can't touch me anymore, but a blacksmith killed me 3 times in a row with his bare fists.

You killed Andre!? I couldn't do that, I quite fancy him.

I once invaded a person on NG+ in the parish who had dragged him to the church for some unknown reason, I buffed him with the trident and watched him go to town on them. 20 flasks and they still couldn't beat him. Though, with a great shield and spear you can kill him fairly easily. He is the wreslter of Dark Souls, so it isn't too surprising haha.

As well there are some who believe he might be the God of War, so it is within reason for him to be an *** kicker. As well cut content says he was a descendant of Gwyn.

He hates those bloody backstabbers

Only problem I have when killing him is like any other NPC with dialogue: he won't shut up! When he talks, he actually greys out a lot of your inputs and screws you over. You need to expend his in-fight dialog lines as fast as possible if you don't want to get caught with your pants down...
