If the new content doesn't come to consoles...

Would anybody be willing to help start up a petition?


I realize its only been a few days but I'm getting nervous that console players won't see the new content. I don't really care if its dlc, a patch or a new disk we have to buy I think we should have it.


So in the next few moths if we hear nothing about it I feel we should take some action as fans. I don't know how to go about this myself. But it worked to get the game onto the pc, it should work to get the extra content onto the console.

I believe there are already several petitions going, but I doubt it will be required, they stand to lose more than profit by only releaseing on PC.

There would have to be content coming to the consoles, either that, or Namco would be losing allot of their fanbase, considering they caved in to the petition for the PC version in the first place and decided to give new content for the PC version.

But then again, take a look at Epics PC version of GoW 1, that content never came to GoW 1 on the 360. We can only hope.

I have a hunch that we may get the content, but as part of a 'special edition' version of the game. Basically the sort of thing they did with DMC3, where they added the ability to play as Virgil and some other stuff then re-released the game as a new retail edition.

This^ i can live with. If the extra content ends up pc only i will throw my toys...

Well considering I'm getting a new gaming computer, I find now that I somehow care less.

I still really want it on the consoles though.

That's my reaction if it doens't come to consoles, followed by.

what new weapon they will added to PC release ????????

I won't buy an entire new game for a few new areas.

Unless the two aren't compatible over multiplayer.

I wont be mad if it doesn't hit consoles, I'll just be disappointed.

I still think the odds of the new content NOT EVER coming to consoles are so infinitesimally small, that they might as well not exist. No business (especially not one that's been around for a long, long time like Bandai Namco) would alienate any audience like that. It might be a DLC, or a patch, or a disc-based independent game (which I think is the most unlikely scenario,) but it'll come. You'll definitely have to pay for it, but that's only fair.

I think I might be the only one who is a little worried about the DLC. Yes, it looks awesome, but didn't they say somthing about "matchmaking?" If they have like, lobbies and voicechat and the like, I don't think I would get the DLC. Someone tell me that i'm wrong about this!

I think that's going to be a PC thing. I doubt they'd change the entire online structure of the consoles.

If the new content doesn't come to consoles, then I'll buy the PC version

I won't be happy, but I'll do it lol. I'd definitely sign a petition to get it onto the consoles though.

I say they'll wait a bit for people to get the PC version first, and then they'll either release a new version of the game or dlc. Can't help but reap some $, especially when Bamco is pulling the publishing strings.

I recently got back into Demon's Souls, but seriously is it worrying that I really don't care about this additional content? My only hope is that From makes a tonne of cash because after decades of obscurity they deserve it.

Well, unlike some, I WILL be mad. I mean come on! They started out with Demons for PS3! Why PC users will have this "gift" instead of us? DLC for PS3 and Xbox imediately.

I'd be disappointed if it didn't come to consoles. For starters it wouldn't make sense for the fact that to them it would be a profit loss for them if they didn't make it as DLC for consoles and it just kind of seems like a slap in the face to console players if they don't. Then again I also doubt they'll keep it exclusively for PC, maybe they'll wait to release it on consoles for a few weeks after the PC release so it promotes PC sales but I feel that they'll bring it to consoles.

Granted I'll probably still get the game on PC as well on consoles if it comes as DLC.
