Most challenging boss Part 1
Maximum number of poll options are 10, once this poll closes in 7 days another will be created with the winner of this one and other bosses not listed until the final poll which will let us know which one is considered the most challenging boss.

Did you realize you set it up so I can choose multiple bosses?

Yep, he is right, we can choose multiple bosses, but I only choose 2, Demon Firesage and Four Kings.

Yes, in case someone cannot decide between two boss on the current list, I feel there will be enough people who feel one stands out more in their minds, i may change that for the final poll but I doubt it.

Re: Most challenging boss Part 1
For my first playthrough, the boss I most died by was super Ornstein, oh he gave me so much trouble, but after killing him I never had problem with Ornstein and Smough again. However, I died at least 3 times in every playthrough by Ceaseless Discharge. Seriously, in every playthrough he one shotted me with his fire breath attack.

By far the four kings and I only voted once but the other would be the Capra Demon.

Re: Most challenging boss Part 1
Normally I'd vote for O&S, since fighting 2 opponents with no set patterns between the two of them tends to be trickier. However with them omitted for now, I'll definitely place my vote for the 4 Kings. While they have much more identifiable attacks and follow a rather static pattern, the sheer amount they scale up in New Games dwarfs the other bosses to the point where if you allow more than one to spawn it pretty much ensures death.

Re: Most challenging boss Part 1
I was going to cut out the ones I considered easy but felt that wasn't for me to decided and in order to reach the fairest outcome listing them from the wiki seemed best.Cloudrunner wrote:Normally I'd vote for O&S, since fighting 2 opponents with no set patterns between the two of them tends to be trickier. Side note, why did someone give me neg rep for this poll? That's weird.

Oh man you can rep here? Now I have to rethink my plans to troll everyone who disagrees with me.
Also, honorable mention: Capra Demon. I didn't vote for him but I know I had trouble on that fight the first time. If you don't have good poise those damn dogs will stunlock you all the time.

That's the boss of Lost Izalith. The giant tree monster that you have to kill those two pods on the sides of the room, causing it to grow fire scythes and making the floor break away.

Bed of chaos does not count for me, I lost 10 rings of sacrifice and still lost my 28 humanity and 3.000.000 souls

Yeah, I've always had major problems with Bed of Chaos... I've lost countless rings, souls, and humanities on that bastard.

Re: Most challenging boss Part 1
I cast my vote for ceaseless. He didn't give me much trouble on NG (though I got cocky near the end and let him nearly one shot me), but on NG+ he became a new beast altogether. He started pulling out more rapid combos that I could only dodge for so long, and what's worse he saw right through my attempts to lead him to the fog gate and just spammed death flames at me. That fight definitely humbled me, but it made the eventual victory all the more satisfying.

i hate smough due to how random he is in my opinion
he sometimes abuses his little rushing attack that he atempts to throw you into the air with his hammer
if he abuses that there's no way you can damage him pretty much and that attack has such a big hitbox

I edited the title to better reflect whats happening, bed of chaos will be on part 2 or 3 the winners of the first two will be added to the 3rd along with all the left over bosses.theAnimus wrote:......... I meant on the poll......

Four Kings on this list. They're the only boss that I still have to specially strategize for beforehand, where most bosses I can be fine with just whatever I have on.
