Hi there! My PSN is the same as my SN here, apostateCourier. While my SL 120 is a Darkwraith, I'm still quite active with my SL 20 SunBro. I even do co-op with my Darkwraith!

My primary goal in lowbie co-op is to provide a defense against twinky invaders, while my "capped" invader does a variety of no-holds-barred invasions (any time you see me in Sen's, expect no mercy) and honor duels (I prefer these in Anor Londo, or pretty much anywhere else. The painted realm on the undead dragon bridge is always fun, or at the base of the harpy stairs is fun too.)

I hope to see you in Lordran, either behind my shield or at the point of my sword, it matters not.

Hello, my name is Minorino here as well as on XBL, but in real life my name is Stefan, and I´m a 29 year old married guy with one kid on the ground and another on the way. Currently I´m in training to become a CNC operator, and before the work market got so broken in Sweden I held numerous factory type positions, making all kinds of crap. Interests are reading, movies, music and games, but as my free time gets more limited, I find I play more and do everything else less.

Been playing games since the NES was pretty new, but my first game was a weird Pong clone that hooked right into the TV. Played that until my dad got pissed at loosing and broke it.

Regrettably I put Dark Souls away for Skyrim, had to see what all the fuss was about. However I ended up creating new toons all the time cause I got bored pretty fast, mostly because I felt the combat didnt satisfy me the way only Dark Souls can.
So here I am, trying to get my pvp skills back again

Hi guys, im Rigz, my PSN is "MRigz", from Ireland.
Anyway, love gaming but i'm new to the series. I was kinda bored a week or so ago and went shopping for a cheap game. Spotted Demons Souls and remembered all the awards and praise it got in 2009, although i assumed it was a game similar to Final Fantasy, which i hate, so i passed it up at the time. But since Dark Souls also got great acclaim i reckoned for €15 its worth a try. Also knew about the high difficulty this game was popular for and at first it was very overwhelming, not just the punishing combat but the lack of knowing anything about the game mechanics, weapons, items etc... but even though i died a lot and was in the dark about a lot of the aspects of the game, i kept coming back and even when i wasnt playing i was thinking about it, it was completely absorbing and i loved it. Finished it solo and with a lot fo help from the Demons Souls wiki. Got Dark Souls this week and im addicted to it, also more involved in the online aspect of the game opposed to DeS, where i did everything by myself.

Like in DeS, im a Thief, love being the stealthy guy in any game, i use my bow a lot and Astora's Straight Sword. Dont really follow any build or pattern, if i find something more powerful and something that suits my character more, then i'll use it. Ive only beaten that bastard Capra, thanks to the help and patience of a fellow Souls gamer named Arkelsa, and now im in the "Depths".

Learned a lot about the game and still learning everyday, the game is incredibly deep.

Anyway, long story short, Hi I'm Rigz.

Greetings, long time lurker, first time poster. Loved playing videogames in my youth (late 80s - early 90s) and purchased a ps3 in 2010. Played Fallout 3, Oblivion, and Red Dead....then based on online reviews, took a chance and purchased Demon's Souls....and as they say the rest is history. Purchased Dark Souls day one and no other game has even entered by radar. (armored core v does sound interesting though)

This is the first forum I have ever joined. You guys seem quite the intelligent type and I have enjoyed your discussions. I decided to join after reading a post about a particular build, the scavenger I believe. For months I have been playing this way, though I have restricted myself to weapon and armor DROPS, I'll use anything else I can pick up or purchase, though I DO NOT purchase upgrade materials. Then on another forum I read about Whaleforce, and have seen no mention here. Are you guys familiar with this? Sounds neat but I am exactly not sure how it works. Anyways....I look forward to participating and happy hunting to you all.

I'm new to these forums, though not to DkS; I probably have about 200+ hours between my various toons. I'm looking now to get better at PvP; I've got a couple of sunbro characters, and I'm pretty good at helping people (mage sunbros seem to be rare for some reason, even though i do a lot more good with 4 CSS against a boss than any tank or min/max).

In real life I do a lot of distance hiking and martial arts, and just generally working out to keep in shape. I'm an avid reader and writer, watch a lot of anime, and play a lot of videogames, pretty par for the course in terms of nerdy interests. I'm also an actor, tending to play the villain a lot in school plays and such, and an amateur thrash vocalist looking for a band, a fool's errand on long island.

I've been lurking on this site for a few months now and finally decided to join the forum. I started playing Dark Souls back in January. My friend had bought the game and couldn't get past the Taurus Demon so he let me borrow it. I've loved the game ever since.

I look forward to making some new friends and meeting some awesome people.

I believe that was Markarth or Markath or something. I know it sounded suspiciously like "market" since it was where the blood and silver flowed in Skyrim.

Ya... haven't played it since before Dark Souls, so...

Right, Markath is the city, Malacath is the daedric god worshipped by orcs and other ugly creatures.

Before this thread gets derailed its not malacath, it is Mehrunes Dagon... HE is worshipped by orcs and cause the oblivion crisis.

Nah, it's dependend on the region of Tamriel, but Malacath is more or less the father of all orcs and thus they follow him.

I just recently joined but I'm pretty sure I was a member previously (this site has been changed around quite a bit, right?).

Anyway I stopped posting previously because I was learning too much about Dark Souls and was no longer really playing the game blind. I finished my first playthrough and have now gone back to Demon Souls for a while.

I upset people on the recent thread - 'which is harder' - but I'm not a trouble-maker or anything. (I just find there it far too much pretence and BS when it comes to people's claims about how they play the Souls games 'blind' and it was 'easy' lol)

I go by many names, but for now I am NordNorth (and no, it's not Skyrim inspired). I used to be the founder and leader of a Halo for PC clan for 3 years. Other than that I have not been a big gamer. I was introduced to Dark Souls by a long-time buddy of mine who taught me the true meaning of a cult classic! Ever since, I've been hooked. I still consider myself semi-new, with about 50 hours of game play under my belt but with minimal PVP/Co-op experience. I have been lurking this wiki and forum for a while now and finally decided to formally join the Dark Souls cult!
