Nick from England here. I've been playing Dark Souls since January now. As a latecomer to this gen of consoles i had been searching for a challenging, "old school" game such as this and had all but given up hope. Coming from a long history of gaming on PC, console and 'real world' board gaming, Dark Souls felt like a taste of the "good old days" for me.

I have recently convinced a friend of mine to play and have now started my 8th character. I have never once invaded another player in over 300-400 hours of gameplay....but i have been summoned more times than i care to remember. I LOVE the "jolly co-operation" element of this game. Knowing that i have helped a totally random player to overcome the odds grants an immense sense of satisfaction!

Welcome there Nick, indeed many of us absolutely love this experience of being rewarded for actual work rather than tediously nameless bandits that die in one hit and respawn every hour. In regards to jolly Co-Op you might want to check out the Noble Knights or the Trade and Player Help section. Welcome!

The names Foster and I'm from Alaska. I've been playing offline mode for the past year pretty much and just got into pvp about a month ago. I've been having a great, heart-pumping , adrenaline filled time this past month.

Name's Daniel-Alessandros (Yep,one word) and I'm a student from France(Feeeeeear the Frenchman!).

I've been playing Dark Souls and Demon's Soul for a year now but I've given up Demon's Soul 'cause,well I dunno but I got bored.

So I've been focusing on Dark Souls and I love to play all aspects of it,lore,PvP,Coop.

Although I'm ashamed to say that the only way I ever won in PvP is by BS(No chain,no fishing) or by ganking in Forest PvP('Cause sneaking in the back of the target OR tanking the target/white phantom while an another phantom sneak up is really fun,even if you get powned at the end) or sometimes I manage to punish with a nice combo(These times are the best but so rare as I'm really bad at PvP).

But I compensate my immorality and me being really bad in PvP by coop-ing a LOT,I even grind from it!
The only place I ever grind is in the Tomb of Giants against skeleton dogs.(4 skeletons dogs OS'd by a spell,return to bonfire,rinse and repeat=30s for 6000 souls.)

So yeah,my english is pretty bad,especially with the verbs.

Hey I'm Blaze1st (also my XBL tag).
I live in the UK where I work for a well known IT security firm.
Started playing DS when it came out then took a little break to play some Tera and catch up with Eve buddies.
Recently returned to the game to complete my first playthrough. Took a break at Anor Londo for a few months, now in Demon ruins to finish of the last bosses there then do Izalith and final battle.
Found these forums while researching... yup you guessed it... the pendant.
Will not kill the last boss until I know the truth!

But not really. I've been playing Dark Souls since about Christmas time, although I stopped playing for a few months at one point. I haven't done much PvP, although I'd like to. Every time I've tried I got ganked, lagstabbed, spammed by pyromancy, or the other person heals every time I get them hurt. My main game is Call of Duty (NOT MW3. That game is ***). I've been playing COD for 4 years and would consider myself a good player.
