I'll be blocking, waiting for a monster to open, then I'll attack and unblock at the same time, then I don't attack... Until 2 seconds later when the monster is attacking me. It's also happened to me with Estus. Anyone else having this problem? Is it already widely known? I usually find it happening when I unblock and do something at the same time.

Happens to me too. Someone else posted about this recently. It has to do with blocking and doing anything else at the same time. The answer seems to be: wait a half a second after you let your guard down. Sorry, that's what I've trained myself to do.

Yeah, but maybe I want to block an attack and immediately attack before the mob attacks? Or maybe I want to keep my block up for a while then unblock and attack really fast in PvP? Idk. I've always played Dark Souls with more of a Tank mindset than a dodging mindset. I'll just have to deal with it =/
By the way, some guy says it happens way less after update 1.5, and someone else said that blightown has way less framerate issues now. I still have both these problems, and yet I can still lock onto someone with a FoG ring on.
