Rarest weapon in the game!

I know it can be different for each person but after getting every weapon in the game i have decided what i think it is. The ghost blade, not the jagged ghost blade but the regular one you can only get from female screaming ghosts.

it was slightly harder to get then the trident(i always have to farm for hours to get the trident i know some people get lucky).With 410 item discovery it took me a few hours to get the ghost blade and i know some people dont even know it exists.

since i didnt want to make another post about it ill just do it here. im making a build i really like just thought id share it. i decided to only do 40poise to try and force me to dodge better and be more careful with my swing timing.

I've received the same # of tridents and ghost blades w/out farming... exactly one a piece.

Trident for me. Ghost blade I've had a few copies, trident I've never received a single one.

In 6 playthroughs I've never had a single ghost blade. Not for lack of trying. Although one of my builds has like 5 tridents that I didn't even try to get. Catch Poles too.

I got 2 tridents on my first playthrough, 1 in the parish the other at dukes. Right now I'm sitting on 4 tridents. I only have one ghost blade though. I did get hollow thief hood on 1st as well. That was a lucky toon I guess cause my item discovery was very low.

getting murakumos from large skellys seems to be somewhat rare also. but i would say the top three are the ghost blade,trident,and the catchpole. theres still nothing like the gargoyle crossbow from demons souls.

dead again, yeaa that was lucky lol. i had much more trouble getting the hollow theif chest armor. symbol of avarice i got with the lightning spear in sens my first playthrough and didnt even notice until i was going through my equipment. i was like what the *** is this thing.

Definitely Ghost Blade or Trident for me. Ive only gotten maybe three tridents and one ghost blade throughout all my playthroughs.

I have never farmed weapons.

And I must have 5 or 6 tridents, spread over 3 or 4 toons.

I only have one Ghost Blade.

Got more tridents than ghost blades. Yet you msut recognize that it is easier to harvest channelers in dukes than it is to harvest banshees in New Londo

Can you get multiple straight sword hilts?

I have multiple tridents and a titanite demon catch pole but I never go a ghost blade jagged or otherwise

I think that's exactly the issue too. The closest bonfire is either in firelink or in the DR Basin cave. Both are far enough away to make it a bit of a trek, and then when you get down there there's only 2? Banshees I think in the whole joint. 2 or 3.

you guys know about that shortcut where you jump down to where you kick the ladder right? it makes it a fast farm maybe 1-2 min tops.thats from firelink then i just bone home

I have never seen the Ghost Blade, nor have I ever heard of it until a few days ago when my friend asked me for one. I thought he was talking about the Jagged ghost blade, but I guess not. Can someone show me a picture?

I know the topic is about weapons, but farming the Souvenirs of Reprisal is my least favorite thing to do.

The ghost blade is one of three items I don't have. The others are the bandit knife despite lots of dead thieves and the dragon torso since literally no one has ever killed me while wearing it and the special seems pretty crappy to me. I agree that the channelers are easier to farm. The crystal knights can't go through walls to make it a pain to get close to your target.

For souvenirs I recommend the lifehunt +5. Run up to the first tower where the two jump you and run to the corner where it prompts just that. The wide sweep will hit both if positioned correctly and two hits means death. They never get a chance to attack. Then......pull out your bow and shoot the two kitty corner across the courtyard (one at a time preferably) as this draws them to your tower. Hit them as they land twice and they too don't get a chance to attack. Four harpies very quickly with little risk. I got more than the eight I needed in about 20 minutes.

I have never got the Ghost Blade either. I did some farming but wasn't too intensive. The Large Club is pretty rare too.

I don't remember I had one when I got the Platinum so.....

Though I'm sure I had a Jagged Ghost Blade.

Oh wait.....I have one of those in my kitchen. Must have dropped there instead of New Londo. Works great as a paring knife

yep ghost balde is a pain to get i only have 1 in 10 toons total. i have about 2 or in some cases about 5 in each toon without farming.

DBF, I've only ever had one.

I also have never intentionally farrmed for weapons, but after well over 500 hours of playing i have one each of trident, catch pole and ghost blade.

Agreed on the ghost blade. I farmed that ghost for about 7 hours before it dropped.

Go on, make my day. Am I right in thinking that you need the Ghost Blade and The Trident for the Knight's Honour Trophy?
