Reah storyline & my next step is?

So I have been trialling a character in Way of White Covenant (Thanks Zakkia!) with the pendant. I've decided not to kill any of the major bosses for as long as possible..trying to follow Reah's storyline...

I have killed the Butterfly (for divine ember), the Capra & Taurus Demons, killed Pinwheel and waited till Reah disappeared so I could save her from Tomb of Giants and get Large Divine Ember (done). Killed Sif for the ring. Have also done the Northern Asylum too. Next is the 4 Kings. I've not yet done blighttown, but went round the back to pick up the key for the New Londo Gate instead.

I've met Reah back in the church (the Gargoyles are still alive) but not yet bought anything from her as I have no souls :x

Is it just her body that appears in the Dukes? I've not yet rung any bells yet nor done blighttown so Lautrec is still salivating over the Dingy-robed mute maiden...

Any thoughts on where to next? I'm a little torn now..

I believe if you talk to Reah in the church, you've already permanently secured the progression of her story. She'll stay in the church until you buy all her spells, then she'll be in Dukes. Petrus doesn't act if you talk to Reah while she's in the church.

So buy all her spells and she heads off to the archives? What do I do with Petrus?

I talked to reah and that **** Petrus still killed her. I don't buy any spells as I don't have enough souls. Went to farm after she thanked me for saving her came back and she was dead. I thought I'd saved her by just talking to her.

Hmmm, maybe it's after you buy at least one spell from her then. If you want the pendant, leave her be and hope that Petrus kills her off. It usually takes completing 2 areas before he decided to kill her. I'm a faith build so I always buy off her, but I didn't buy all of her spells (I was hoping Petrus would kill her). After 5 areas and 6 bosses, she's still there and Petrus doesn't have any dialogue about her.

I read that if you complete 1 or 2 areas, she will die in the Church. It happened to me, but I didnt met her alive there or in the Dukes.

After Tomb of Giants, if you visit two other areas before going to the parish, Petrus will kill her. If you kill Petrus, he will never kill Rhea. If you go to Rhea before you visit two other area, Petrus will not kill her. Rhea "should" not leave the parish until you buy all of her spells, but sometimes she leaves before you buy all of her spells. When you encounter her in Duke's she is hollowed.

Also moving this to "The Archives"

Just kill Petrus if you want to be sure she lives.

Sweet - I guess my task this evening is to kill Petrus then. I've never encountered her in the archives so that should be fun.
