About the same but I dont kill the drakes, if I have a homeward bone/spell Ill just use that after the last wraith. If I dont have that Ill just run by the drakes and up the elevator to the fireplace for a quick warp.

The biggest problem when farming the wraiths is the house you need to pass to get to 4kings, the ghosts can mess up your routine. In the end when I got the backstab routine going I would just go in and to the right, wait for the first wraith and then take the next before killing the ghosts.

However if you mess up you could end up with 2 wraiths and a few ghosts which can be a hassle but not undoable by any means.

I usually get a slab drop from killing around 100 darkwraiths when farming. I just happen to have some luck when farming them. And I've gotten a slab when I was just heading for the Four Kings.

The best entrance is, in my opinion, the Firelink one. Those drakes troll me too much.

More than one of them can drop it, but it's random. I got 2 slabs out of 9 lizards when doing that area during the gargoyle playthrough. You basically have to know where they spawn then quit the game and keep reloading until they spawn.


Also in general, the Valley of Drakes is faster, just remember to step on the elevator platform as you're walking into the Valley so that it will be back at the top when you homeward bone.
