Yea but its a semi-glass cannon build so low Vit is to be expected, that's why I gave him MoTM in my fix to help that problem out, but to be honest the battles with a build like this aren't going to be drawn out. He only needs to land 3-4 hits to get a kill with his buff and he himself can be killed easily.

That is exactly what I thought when I brought up the edited build and all he did was put on Mask of mom and havels chest

I like the edited build, MOM isn't my favorite but it works, plus the extra poise is nice to.

and just to put your mind at ease, a combination of Havel/Black Knight/Silver Knight is not exactly what I would call a generic armor setup...or very pretty for that matter but hey the numbers are there lol

mugen was coming from the right place. I just really dislike that MOM mask.

Sorry mugen but I almost cried when I saw this. I don't know what the majority of the forum thinks, but you have transformed a unique armor set up into an efficient, trolling mask tank flipper. I feel this type of set up to be highly disturbing and you're promoting an armor setup that almost everyone outside of forum community wears. Why not suggest Stone Giants? No, it has to be Havel's or Giant's, if it's Iron Golem or any of those weak heavy armors then the build sucks. Wtf man...

I don't get it. Why is using good gear such a crime? I'm actually scared to post any more fixes just because of the reactions I know I'm going to get:

honestly mask of mother would do this build good. i would prob switch the armor to havels gauntlets and leggings and dingy robe. http://tinyurl.com/cjwa93y if you really wanna be "original" i guess you dont need to use havels or mom but it would obviously improve the build. you could also switch out for dark sun crown or dusks. personally i think dark suns a little better because you dont lose 30% magic defense. even tho you get half the dmg increase.

i agree mugen im kinda sick of people considering gimping themselves as being more honorable or w.e. from now on im going to just have mof as an option, if i see the other player uses that option i will switch to it. easy.

here is what i think is funny, all the hypocrites in this thread that don't realize it.

Now let me state i have nothing agianst any of the methods used (Mask of Mother, buffs etc.)

but all the people complaining about mask of Mother, ripping on some one for suggesting it with Havel armor, why? because it gives a whopping 200-300HP? and a bit more poise??? so you can MAYBE survive one more hit? and don't give me the unoriginal/ugly part, because taste is subjective some people might honestly like it.

all while openly supporting Weapon Buffs which add 300-400+ damage PER SWING easily negating MORE HP then Mask of the Mother even gives with 1 attack.

I truly deserve a -1 for the rant, I expected it. I just couldn't shut my mouth and exploded. But looking from the positive side, what do you guys think about a friendly forum war? Efficiency vs looks. If efficiency loses, all members will have to wear an egg head for a week in all their builds. If looks lose, they'll have to wear mask of the father for one week.

Everyone who even hinted at condeming mugen for suggesting arguably better gear, reguardless of how common it is, lost respect in my eyes. His is the way I'd go specifically because its always good to have a failsafe, and poise functions as one quite well.

I'm so ****ing sick of you people trying so hard to be unique or different that condemn people for even suggesting more common set ups. Guess why their common guys. BECAUSE THEY WORK. If you don't want to use them then don't, but stop ***** about others doing so.

^^^ this too lol. It's a really developer's error, not any player's fault. Demon's soul's PvP was a much bigger hit than they expected I think, so they weren't prepared for all this. They're still trying to get people on board who REALLY know how to balance all the various weapons, armor, buffs, rings, etc. Think about WoW or Modern Warfare. If one specific gun or set of armor is almost universally better, I'd bet my right nut (and i love that guy) that the majority of players in a competitive environment would use that specific gun or set of armor. It's competitive. So you want to win. So you use the best stuff. Simple as that.
