Black Phantom Bug

Ive had a problem ever since i started NG+ on my new character.
my
world got infested by a gravelord mark (no big deal) but every time i
play now there are ALWAYS black phantom mobs in my world, this only
occurs in undead burg and undead parish but its making life hard
especially when taking the lift from firelink to parish (theres a giant
black knight phantom with a sword) any iideas whats causing it and how
to fix?

I had the same thing happen today, weird.

It's a bug with causes I'm not entirely certain of but you are not the only one. If memory serves a surefire way of fixing it is to get invaded again then find the mark and defeat the Gravelord, while that may take some time there may be one or two other methods but I do not recall them at this time.

I think yo have to remain in the area for more than a certain amount of time be fore they go away.

I did it by having 99 eyes and using one then quiting the game then loading and repating the process all over the place. MUAHAHHA
