what kind of skills does it offer? Tempted to have a flirt with the class while I play a bit of arisen the explorer..

Though I like mystic knight and magic archer as versatile units. The knight's great cannon and ruinous sigil are incredible abilities, then adding in burst strike is awesome winking The magic archer is amazing against things with it's hunter arrow and 6fold arrows, especially bosses where it has like 10 points to target and then dagger flurry hundred kisses to slaughter them.. The light arrow is awesome too at night, no need for lanterns silly

My augs are all HP up, stamina up, reduce physical damage x2 (lol, does *** all), HP regen then.. I think expanded field of vision, which is kinda pointless seeing as enemies doen't show on the mini map but oh well, augs don't seem that amazing really most of the time.

lol I didnt know at the time! And I only hadher for 5 minutes, you're lucky you got 4 for the others silly
Like I said I only use burst strike. Literally. It gets the classic sevenfold shot and some power shot bow skills. Even gets an aimable long distance arrow that completely drains your stamina. No idea about its dagger skills. The sword skills seem okay but havent tested any.

I got to level 5 with the class, seems ****. Like honestly there's no reason to use it instead of fighter or ranger besides it's night abilities... I prefer magic archer and mystic knight to it by far, least they have moves which slaughter bosses...

Tempted to try out ranger at soem point, the giant arrows that know people over look hilarious silly

Oh right, that's forgivable, though now her averages are down to 4,4,4 sad

und the last vocation lvl (or the last one idk) is where you unlock the invisibility skill for the daggers and with that active you are invincible since you cant be hit even when discovered. however it drains your stamina really fast.

I used it when fighting bosses that have really big attacks that could kill me in one hit since by just using it for a few sec's allowed me to avoid dmg.

And the augs that are useful that you get for the assassin are meant for people who like to explore alone or who dont like to rest at ins when ever it turns night time.

blood lust (the one that lets you keep your party) is the most useful because when your way out there exploring and cant rest till morning blood lust will increase all your dmg by 70% and def by 30 points.

when you lvl up certain classes determine the way your class lvl's up warrior gets the most health, assassin gets the most physical dmg stat boost, mystic knight is the most balanced for stats. strider gets the most stamina gains ect

Meh, got past the losers who were guarding the dragon, embarrassed I struggled, just didn't have a well set party (mage with ice magics and buffs to kill em)

The dragon is ridiculous. He just takes too long. I only got him down like 3 bars before getting flown into the air and instakilled. Thanks, I really wanna bother doing you again now :x

Probably go back and be magic archer instead, having the ranged attack to just pummel the heart will be far more useful than Mystic knight's abilities against the dragon.. Tempted to just not have a warrior at all in the party, she's useless against him.

Yeah, having the auto aim bow would be incredibly useful against the dragon, autotarget the heard with 6fold arrow repeatedly.. Suck on that glowing ****.

Anyway, too late for me to try again as it's half 2.. Just gonna read some manga before bed winking

Yeah, the magic archer's bow auto aims for you basically? You never used magic archer? :affraid:

But yeah, using that with the sixfold arrow skill, if it's locked onto a target, it's a dead straight target shot that hits them then the 6 arrows that hurt get that spot, basically never misses so it kills things really quick winking

Oh right, okay basically it gives you a big reticle to look through (kinda like a sight but really large), when an enemy goes into that, as circle goes around them which means the arrow is locked on. When you fire it the arrow then homes in on the target, so you don't have to precision aim everything.

Just means it's easier to fire on targets who are far away, also it's abilities like ten arrows fire up in the air... target ten different points, say on bosses... So I fire 10 arrows at once at these guys, it's really ridiculous silly

Give it a try, it's a fun class and gives you some magic attacks with your daggers too, the homing arrows make the quests to kill rabbits and crows really simple, thanks for my 120k bros silly

I'm not bothered about maxing mystic knight.. all it gives me is an all or nothing shield attack (sounds cool, but as with all the other skills on the game it will be underwhelming), the second dark enchantment thats shoots things and upgrade of stone whatever attack (which is painfully slow to charge)

Then again, I don't think I'll ever be happy with any of the magic abilities the hybrids get. Though top level magic archer gives you a sacrificial bow attack (sacrifices a pawn to fire an epic power arrow)

Need to start playing this game again although I have been holding my friends hand through DkS as he bought it new last week.

As to the Magic Archer class I found it very good although just did not find it had the stopping power like the normal archer as.
Although I think you will like playing around with it DoughGuy when you unlock all the abilities.

That's the buildout I use, the burst strike seems to ignore your encumbrance which lets you fly around in combat even though my mystic knight is heavily armored and slow. Great cannon works on everything, and ruinous sigil is awesome for party defense and traps. Try it on a big group of undead, it will just keep popping them up in the air over and over, and you can overlap them too.

My mystic knight augs are all magic and physical defense (he's already maxxed fighter/warrior/mage), plus some hp boosts. He's effectively unkillable (lv 55), even if a dragon picks him up and slams him on the ground or hits him with a fireblast he takes maybe 150 hp damage. I also geared him up with stuff that boosts his attack knockdowns, and he's using a Font of Fire mace that is dragon forged, so a single swing punts pretty much any non-boss mob into the distance. I've come to really enjoy the combat system, which is deeper and more responsive than I thought on first impression. My only major gripe anymore is how some of the quests seem to be buggy or randomly fail for reasons that aren't clear.

Magical archer is probably where Ill end up considering the thing I liked about the assassin was being able to switch between melee and range deasily. The only thing is Ill miss my beautiful burst strike. Seriously that move is amazing.
A tip to anyone starting is definetily see the duke asap. So many good quests start after you meet the duke so get him as fast as you can.

From what Befowler said, sounds like really I should try to get all the defence augments going.. Though would take a LONG time to get them all I reckon..

The Irony of this sentence astounds me :suspect: . cause in previous conversation I believe you worked really hard to discredit the usefulness of the method I had described that would do just that in a lot less time. 🇳🇴

Bane, I haven't done either. I'm not gonna farm though I've gotten to the dragon with better planning with my mage, I just need to go in with an archer so the fight is a bit easier.

Please don't get offended it's not I didn't think your idea is bad, I just dislike grinding.. I can get the augments just by playing through the game itself but grinding is just grinding.. If you get what I mean silly

At that point I was stuck, now (I think) I'm not and I should be able to continue, and so I don't need to grind but can work on the augments. winking

So I finally got around to getting the inn keeper back alive (had to leave it on for a while) and just killed dragon at level 46. So now I just got all my equipment dragonforged.. but then it gave me dragon weapon dagger and magic bow so that was pointless silly extra defence from armour is okay though...

It was so easy with magic archer, I got spammed shoot at the dragons heart and homing meant I barely had to aim and barely needed to heal.. Think next time around I should try melee him to see if I can get him that way..

Anyone have any dragon farming tips? The only one I encounter with any frequency is the one in Devilfire grove with all the orcs, but even then it's fairly rare and I often have to visit a bunch of other areas and often quit/reload before it shows up.

If you sleep for 7 days after you kill it, it will respawns. also there is a camp where you can rest very near to it look up the camps and dragons locations on the wiki for mor exact information.
