Hunting season! (summer forest pvp event)

I use the Sunlight Altar too. You can actually get invasions while sitting at the bonfire sorting through your BB or whatever.

That seems great, but I've invaded while I was in the middle of repairing my gear. Alls well and good til you remember that your MLGS is about to break.

Yeah, the fact it bounces you off the fire on the first popup rather than the last is irritating...

Yep - that is exactly what I do in those locations - practice, practice.Easy enemies (but in humaniod form) which allow you to try different things. I especially like the upper Undead area - many, many, humanoid enemies which allows you to get some decent sparring in.

Exactly. And yet I'm still in the average range after all that. Balder knight parrying was fun to learn though.

PSN: lemonswaffles would a 130 gravelord work? or my forest hunter lvl 70?

I would say gravelord because a SL70 hunter is hampered due to the lack of level restriction... plus more gravelords is good they enable all sorts of diabolical options for the hunters and if they try and invade you they cant bring backup (at least not individually)

Hm, I can't participate in the actual event, but maybe I will make a humanity draining character to help cleanse the forest over the summer. I've heard that draining 20+ humanity from them tends to make them leave...

ive been cursed in the forest before, just bp mushrooms and gravelord invasion fails, but i did manage to get tons of goldpine resin and eyes of death

Deathly, if I'm up against a 3 v 1 and I cant persuade the host out. I go for the back part of the forest through the cat zone or the alvina hut depending on location. if they try and follow and they are cursed. I just got at least a 50/50 chance of winning.

There will be multiple versions of me invading perhaps during the forest - I have my toons on Cloud Storage - I may dupe them over to my fathers and Natalia's PS3 so they can use a diff PSN to me and still invade

So, how effective do you think this build would be at annoying farmers enough to drive them away?

^^ The forest is not like the kiln - the farmers care not for humanity - they care for souls. and you would be feeding them souls with that build

Not effective enough im afraid. if you dont have a way to punish them in terms of damage they will take you out. you need to make them go its a serious battle then get them to leave a large enough opening for the hand.

Casually told a 1v4 ganker that I beat when he rage messaged me
