Re: New Build advice
Experiment a bunch. Find the weapon combinations that fit your playstyle. Sometimes for example I like to have a Mura and BSS setup so I can do those awesome while-dashing attacks with the Mura and flip to the BSS for fast swings and killer 2hand pokes. It's a great weapon combo. If you don't want to invest in FAI/INT, just use pyro. Beyond that, you've just got to know your ****. And learn to parry. Some of these dudes... they will POOP on you with parries. So learn 'em too.

Re: New Build advice
I always say don't be to obvious with your gear. If you come across someone who has a parry dagger, you already know what they're aiming for. It may sound a bit harsh but you may have to switch over to a medium shield to hide your parrying skills. Unless you want a shield and a parry dagger on your offhand.

Honestly, man, the Target shield is just as good as the Parrying Dagger, plus you can turtle it up like a pro. It's surprising how many people will see that you've got a Target shield and still try to lay into it anyway. Dopes.

Re: New Build advice
Plus the parry animation is way cooler. I always imagine my dude is like "take THAT" when I parry. Yeah, get that **** outta my face. The dagger is like some kid with carpel tunnel waving goodbye to grandma. It doesn't look awesome at all. Certainly not like a boss... haha.

Re: New Build advice
Use the dusk head piece it boost spell damage like 20% but it makes you weaker to magic but you probably wont even notice.

Re: New Build advice
The darkmoon crown boost damage 10% without the weakness to magic.
