Behind in the Community
GAH! I feel so behind when it comes to so much of what's already happened in the forums. I kind of wish I stuck with Dark Souls when I fist started playing at release, but I stopped playing because I didn't buy the game for it's lasting power, but to simply have the game. It didn't stick at the time, but now it has. I'm here, and I see all these things that's happened. This huge community of people who's had countless of hours together. All I can do is stand in the shadow until the time I've spent with the community is larger than the time I missed, though, I doubt the hole will ever get filled, just covered up.

Read the entirety of the archives. Then you'll be up to date on the lore but behind on everything else. Worth it.

Re: Behind in the Community
I can't even read all of Acidic's Search for the Lore. I'm not much of a lore kind of reader. I'm more of a "community" type of guy. I love feeling like I belong. I only have 5 close friends, and they've been my close friends for 4 years. I also don't care much for new friends, as I don't really feel like I belong, and I love seeing old friends.DoughGuy wrote:Read the entirety of the archives. Re: Behind in the Community
I am going to write my script for the second lore video tomorrow, if all things go well. Midterms was last week and this week was crazy busy with work. I have 2 part time jobs now and part time college. So most of my stuff will have to be on weekends.DoughGuy wrote:Do more of your vids. Maybe do some pvp ones with Bla1ne. Just post EVERYWHERE! BLA1NE makes videos?!
And ya, if you haven't noticed, I've been trying to post as much as possible. Though, Off-Topic and General Discussion seems to be where I really like to be. PvP i'm JUST starting, and so far, I can't do much lore at a time hahaha! 'Tis why I ask for help from the community. I can't do it all, mostly because I just can't read it all.
(Ahhh. I see what you did there. I seriously want a unique label somehow related to randomness. And the icons below it should be random stuff. And one of them HAS to be an elk. 'Cause one of my best posts is about my elk that got stolen.)

Re: Behind in the Community
lol I'm aiming for NPC Stalker as a uniqure title. I figure just a few more NPCs in my thread (check out my sig, toot toot) and I will be eligible.

Re: Behind in the Community
I did read There's More to Them. It's definitely shorter than Acidic's thread... And more interesting IMO since it's a lot more focused on a specific topic, and not so random. I mean, Acidic's post is fine if it was a conversation, which it kind of is, but it's READ. I'm reading it. It's got to be structured like a book should. If his thread was a book, it wouldn't be a good one haha!

Re: Behind in the Community
Idk. There are old threads I see that I just wish I could have been a part of. And people I wish I could have gotten to know. Like Yesuurd and a few others.

On a forum no one remembers history unless it gets updated.

And Federally, I cannot speak any slower. That was my slow talk. I trip over my words when I try to speak slow. It's like a train going full speed, then trying to slow it down very very suddenly... there's going to be bumps.

Indeed Dough. Also don't just try to post in every topic, if you have something to contribute to a conversation just do it, but if you don't just listen in if that is the thing. I know you probably didn't mean this, but we do need to keep the spam low...
This is a really bad case of a kettle calling the pot black.

Re: Behind in the Community
Yeah. I dont really post in pvp. I read the top threads, tho. I am all over general, but i dont post in the threads im not interested in. I just have a bad habit of wanting to specifically reply to one post that starts to branch off a bit. I have only derailed one topic, mind you. And i didnt even start it.
My signature is mostly for kicks and giggles. I would delete my account before purposefully damaging the community. *shiver* i dont wanna think about it haha!
