I'd be surprised if they don't release it for Macs, but can't Macs run PC stuff now?

Heya! I'm new on the forums and spotted this thread. Thought I'd say hello and chime in that I'll be getting my start with Dark Souls on the PC with a friend of mine. So, uh, hey and stuff!

If it dosent come to steam on mac you could always use bootcamp, of course you are going to need a windows operative system.

Yup, I also buy it for sure. I want it on my steam account tough, so that I never have to worry about disc that can be damaged. As soon as it is on steam I'll buy it!

/\ why dont people like hard copies anymore? you get a sense of ownership (except for LOL DRM) and you get to enjoy the satisfaction of opening up the box for that "new vidya smell" It also installs faster seeing as you dont have to DL it first.

I just don't want to worry about discs that can break or scratched making them unplayable. If I get it on steam I will always be able to download it. I can also alt + tab and be able to check the forums or look something up. I only buy physical copies of a game if I can activate them trough steam. Than I have the game forever + the satisfaction of opening the box and installing the game, like you said.

well im sure theres no need to worry, itll probably be available by digital release only anyways.

Not only am I a PC buyer, but because my laptop sucks (wouldn't play D3, but didn't really care), I'm having an entire gaming system built for me for Dark Souls. Spending way too much $$$ just to play the PC edition of a game I've already played for countless hours, and could play in a couple months anyway. I assume I'll find other good PC-only games at some point though. At least I'm REALLY hoping so.

I think its digital release only too. no new vidya smell for the pc player

Does this game come out Thursday night, at midnight? Does it depend on your timezone? I don't know if it's coming out on the 23rd or 24th.

I pre-ordered on green man gaming, it was cheaper than on steam but i didn't receive my key yet, will there be any kind of pre-load?

I'm just trying to decide if I want to buy the game again.

I guess I could always give someone my PS3 copy and introduce them to the game series.
