I always tell my friends to go and buy Dark Souls. "That's a real game, not this bullcrap" ... that's what I tell them when we are playing GoW3.

I miss some of the old games I played before Dark Souls came along.. XD but I don't regret being sucked into it. My first DkS buddie was playing Skyrim and I remember calling him a traitor haha!

ive put almost 1500hrs into dark souls 
i need a break now, i have been trying to play other games. even so i still cant help but play it. i will obviously return to being a complete addict when the dlc comes out.

Xacktastic got me back in because he finally started playing it (he and his brother got his for Christmas...), so I was like "sure!" cause I played any game he did. Then I didn't want to leave. I'm glad he got me back into it, but now I try to keep him into it! I got him on the forums! And he plays quite often! I just hope he doesn't leave. He probably will, though... D:

I had one of my friends borrow Demon Souls and he gave up.. He wouldn't even look at Dark Souls when I tried to advertise it as..being..easier -snickers- Can't blame him.. He's more of a Call of Duty person...

Me too. And I bought Dragons Dogma, played it a bit, and went back to Dark Souls. Not because DD is bad (it's actually pretty good), but I just can't NOT play Dark Souls.

I got one of my buddies to get dks and he probably played for a weekend till he gave up. I tried hard to keep him into it but he was just to impatient to use the shield button (seriously could not wrap his head around it) plus he couldnt handle not being good at a game for once lol.
I got another friend that says he wants to play and i pretty much told him ive never been more addicted to a game. He says hes got other games to beat first and i said *** those games lol

I'm honestly trying to play less of this game. I have at least 12 other games that I still have to go back and beat, some of which I was really far into when I got sucked back into Dark Souls. But I just can't get away and I don't even have the DLC yet, lol.
Then again, I felt the same way about Demon's Souls and I did eventually leave it be...

I don't dream. Though, I was playing Marvel vs Capcom at a party today, and I was playing it as if I was playing dark souls "Ok, set up the next shot. Ok, get this combo. Stun them, do the special. Done, ok, next character." hahah! Like "ok, set it up, hit'em, do some pyromancy, backstab, fire tempest! Done." haha!
