Edit: Steel lands us at 60 poise but I'm having issues finding another appropriate set in that middle poise range.

As long as it's over the break we are good.

Wow...Paladin set is exactly 1 away from the poise break of 53...

Re: Lordran's Deliverance
Yeah I know I used it and it was like a slap in the face if I wasn't using the Wolf ring. Also we couldn't use it anyways as it is associated with the Way of White; we are avoiding armors tied to other covs.

Re: Lordran's Deliverance
Crystal's poise is 40 but Catarina could work. I suppose it could be the basic one to be replaced by Steel later since there is a known Steel DM. Still that doesn't seem in tune with what we were aiming for with the upper ranks being closer to Gwyndolin. I suppose we will need to discuss it with Zack and get his take since it's his cov and all. I like forum's idea but getting one within each poise break range is proving tricky.

I must have read the wrong column then, though it had more poise.

Re: Lordran's Deliverance
I like this idea.
Like, Brass/Giant/Black at Rank 4+
Then similar at 3+
and similar at 2+
?
That sorta thing. Just cooler armor as you advance, in the same class?

That's what the discussion is, but I don't think you will be able to have 3 or four sets. You may have to make do with one set for +1/+2, and one for +3/+4.

Re: Lordran's Deliverance
Sounds good to me. Those make sense for the top rank. The lower ranks will be the tricky part though. Yeah we could just have a light/medium/heavy setup for the classes and advance like you said.
Shkar has a point one per two ranks should be good. Rank 5 would just be when Gwyndolin's gear becomes available I suppose.

Yeah, Idk, it's hard.
If we are going to do this, we have to provide every poise break to each set of armor.

Re: Lordran's Deliverance
Catarina and Steel hit that middle poise break but I think they are the only ones. The low and high ones are easy. So I suppose we need 40-/41 to52/53 to 75/76+ to cover each spot then. Perhaps:
Painting Guardian/Elite Knight/Catarina/Black Iron
Black/Brass/Steel/Giant
Just the best I could throw together off the top of my head.

50 and 47, respectively. They could be the Light set, but they don't reach the other ones.

Yeah they are in the medium light section. They pass the first poise break but thats it.

Re: Lordran's Deliverance
You could have S.Knight ---> Brass Armor for the light armors.

Okay so...
Painting Guardian/Silver Knight/Catarina/Black Iron
Black/Brass/Steel/Giant
Does that look good?

So, the first set until like rank 4? Or rank 3 they unlock?

If you have the first set for ranks 1 and 2, and the second set for ranks 3 and 4, with a special set for rank 5, that would leave a good diversity without clumping it all together.
I would also suggest leaving the armor increase optional, yet suggested.

Re: Lordran's Deliverance
I would say unlock new set at +3 and then at +5 allow them to add in parts of Moonlight set if they choose (strongly encourage crown).
