Forum can we drop it please? I'm all for slightly off topic discussion if it is productive but this is definitely not; in fact I would go so far as to call it pointless.

I agree with sunlight we should stop, after all it is completely relative apparently as you're showing. There is no point debating it really.
Sorry on behalf of us for going majorly off topic on something that is pretty irrelevant to the thread

Re: Lordran's Deliverance
I just texted Zack. You guys are forgiven, but he says not to do it again.
Not really, but I think he'd probably say something like that jokingly.
Sunlight, where are you on creating your character? Forum, are you waiting for the lore before you decide to start your character? Serious, are you even joining this covenant?

Also, the lore is up Joe. Most of it at least. For each area and the main ideas.
And I do appreciate the "discussion" on my thread, it has gotten a bit too far here.

You appreciate the discussion that went too far? *confused*
I'm gonna read the lore nao. I wonder when I'll get my hw done.
PS: I did ask questions to get the thread back on topic, but neither Forum nor Sun responded...

I appreciate people speaking their mind, but to an extent. Yo dig?
I know Joe, thank you.
P.S. I have been listening to the static at the end of a song for about 5 minutes without realizing it. Woo.

I'm glad for once I didn't REALLY contribute to the extreme discussion.
Anyway, did you put any lore about any alliance or lack thereof with The Knights?

Re: Lordran's Deliverance
Well, I think you should wait until the stalkers make their move against the knights. Then you'll be forced to make a decision. No alliance, partial/temporary alliance, permanent alliance.
if you think about it, forum's argument is valid, but really, there is no death involved with neither the knights nor the DM. Just phantoms dying. Heck, it could even be friendly rivalry depending on the lore. Idk much about the character personalities, though. Dough's knights seem to be really mean. At least, his new one. (We're having persona talks on the Covenant Lore thread. You should join, zack

Forum's arguemnt irks me, as all kinds of governments and organizations have enlisted the aid of prisoners and criminals in times of great duress. I can't recall any specifics, but I could swear that there have been wars where criminals have been offered pardons in exchange for military service. Heck, just look at all the stories of ex-criminals helping law enforcement catch current criminals.
Also, I OP'ed the lore stuff in the Covenant thread.

Re: Lordran's Deliverance
Yeah. He may have poked holes in the permanent alliance argument, but there's too many holes in his argument to keep a partial alliance for times of trouble and dire need.
yeah, I read it through
i will quote from now on because it seems you got the order is a bit messed up due to the fact that some people type faster than others, so they get out of order on the thread haha!
yeah, I read it through

If you think our knights are mean, you really don't know us very well

Re: Lordran's Deliverance
Yeah well his dad was murdered so you know, you'll have to forgive him a little there
I would join in and give a better impression of the knights, but I don't really like doing it in 1st person, all the lore I've written for my character so far has been written in 3rd person even

Re: Lordran's Deliverance
You should try sometime. It's really fun. Didn't you ever play those make-believe games as a kid where you were a super here of your own choice! Or you made it up! And it was your own world that you shared with your friend, and you'd pretend fight and all that awesome stuff? Well, here's the Dark Souls Player-made Covenant version of that
